Macdonald Burlington Hotel

Our stay was lovely, staff were welcoming and the conditions were very comfortable. We found a room was quite cold when we were settling in but it warmed up later on in the evening. Overall a great stay.

Lovely room, lovely hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful. Fantastic location for shops, restaurants and bars.

Room was nice enough for the price and clean. No ironing board in the room - asked for one from reception and it was with us in a few minutes. All staff were very pleasant. The ironing board we received however was terrible, it collapsed twice whilst using it (the latch had bent).

Restaurant closed. Had to go out for a decent meal.

Its in a great location, close to the station and in the heart of the shops.

Good location Rooms have been refurb however some of the hotel is a little tired Excellent service Had a lovely time however only one shower gel Room service was really quick

Hotel was a lovely old characteristic building,spotlessly clean reception,the room was massive,bed was so comfy,went to the bar underneath the hotel, lovely decor the only downside was the breakfast,we sat down,ordered coffee and got our cereals,another 2 couples arrived and got there coffees before us,twenty minutes it took to get our coffee as we had to remind them,we got our breakfast,my wife ordered poached eggs whilst i ordered a full English with poached eggs,the eggs were freezing, so my wife asked for 2 more eggs,when they came,the took the original egg on toast back and just brought 2 poached eggs,so we asked for toast,again the eggs were freezing, it took another 10 minutes to get the toast,by this time,my wife had given upon breakfast

Hotel room was fine, just felt a bit tired and in need of some TLC Quite a bit of street noise, which probably wouldn’t have heard if the windows fitted properly

Top class hotel situated right next to New Street Station. Very helpful reception staff and check-in/check-out very smooth. Lovely old building with a very spacious room and bathroom.
