On our first day Saturday (12/14/24), we discovered the main lobby was closed for construction, so we had to use the back door to locate the cashier for check-in.
Breakfast was served in a very small room with insufficient seating, so it was often full. The bread toaster was broken, the coffee maker was too small, and we couldn’t even get coffee. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
The daytime front desk manager, blonde lady “Lisa”, came across as unhelpful and seemed uncomfortable dealing with guests of color, which felt discriminatory. However, the night shift staff and room cleaners were polite and very helpful.
Additionally, I was charged $4.95 to use their Wi-Fi service, even though it was advertised as free.
Advice for others: Before booking this hotel, I recommend doing some extra research.”
