This hotel is old & the room had a funny smell to it. I would not stay here again.

When I tried to check in they wanted to charge me an extra $100 for my pet. I never saw any kind of notification in my confirmation email. Apparently it only shows up at the time of booking. But obviously it’s not that apparent. I would like to have my money back. I’ve never stayed there. I had to walk away.

Although it was COVID times, this is my second time staying here and each time it gets better and better. I was given a free update with a whirlpool tub and fireplace. The front desk clerk, Molly, was amazing. I will definitely be going to this hotel anytime I am in Ventura.

I've stayed at the Pierpont Inn numerous times but not in the section for this particular stay. The East Wing was not only super outdated but cobwebs that needed to be swept down around the celings. Bathroom was bad and I was really surprised & embarrased cause my BFF came to visit and we had 2 King Rooms both the same. Me boasting about the property & then the rooms looking like Motel 6, was very bad for me. My BFF won't take me at my word for hotels anymore she said.

Brief solo day first time staying here but will be back. Of course during these covid times you have your concerns but the room was very clean and staff were taking the covid situation very seriously. This was important to me. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Absolutely love Pierpont Inn. The hotel is historic but they’ve done a fabulous job of modernizing the rooms. My best was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. My only complaint was the shower. Several times the water went from scalding to regular temperature. I assume it’s because someone flushed their toilet in another room... I totally understand how that could happen in an older property so it wasn’t that big of an issue. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in one of the 2 private cottages that were built in 1925. The jacuzzi hot tub in the bathroom was amazing for my wife and I. Very nice private patio and very secluded. The only complaint we had was that the bed was extremely squeaky and kept us up at night.
