Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu

Great location and cozy atmosphere!

Good location, sizeable rooms, comfortable. Had a lovely stay.

Visited Excel Hotel back in 2004 and I loved the atmosphere, proximity to Shibuya, top notch cleanliness, and overall service. 2020 nothing changed. Amidst the new virus, great information and approach from the management, super clean and general Japanese efficiency to the detail. They even had the kindness, as we were travelling for our honey moon to welcome us with a super room, 2 bride and groom bears, chocolates and Japanese tea... Loved the hotel and for any future visit to Tokyo, I will definitely come back.

This hotel has fantastic views from the rooms and elevators. Finding the hotel was easy, it has great access to all amenites (shops, restaurants and transport). Check-in was easy and the staff were really friendly and approachable. the hotel was VERY clean including shared areas such as lifts and the laundry facilities. Our hotel room was on the 19th floor, had an awesome view to Yoyogi park, Shinjuku, and over the heart of Shibuya. The room was easily big enough for a couple and our luggage, with multiple places to store our stuff and sit. Bed was comfortable and a good size. Our room was kept very clean, tidy and well stocked with toiletries and towels etc. by housekeeping. Over-all, very impressed with our stay in this hotel. would recommend and will stay again.

Overall a very good stay in Tokyo, location is excellent right in the center overlooking Shibuya crossing. The lights and the noise can be a bit difficult to sleep through the night and the amenities are not quite on par with some of the top hotels but for the price this was a very good value and a great choice for our stay located right above the subway station making access to the entire city very easy.

There is no gym in the building. Staff is too strict and does not help in accommodating your request.

I appreciate the complimentary upgrade to high floor during my stay there. The room is clean and well maintained. The view is nice and the location is excellent as it is located in Mark City, just beside Shibuya Crossing.

For a double occupancy room, there were only 2 pillows. I did not sleep well.

Good choice for a hotel in the Shibuya area. Easy access to everything.
