On the sea. Beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. It is very close to the boardwalk. The property has bicycles to ride. Breakfast was good. We would stay there again.

The location was really great. The staff was very professional and helpful. A big thank you to Irina and the other guy I can't remember the name who made our stay more memorable. The room was very small and I didn't like to have to cross the street to the Herbert opera hotel in the morning for breakfast. This term was not disclosed before or during booking. I think this is unfair for guests to only know this important details after they confirm their booking.

The beach is right across the street with free chairs and wonderful warm water. The hotel is clean and our balcony was huge. We did not find any real restaurants in the walking area other than the hotel.

Pros: Right on the beach, you cannot ask for a better location. The hotel is very clean and it's very quiet. Cons: The rooms are right next to each other so you can definitely hear your neighbours. It's boutique hotel so that's to be expected. The Rooms are also VERY small and that's with booking what seems to be the largest room they had, so don't let any of the photos on the website fool you. Like I said, it's a boutique hotel, so know what you're getting yourself into. If you want a big room, do not book this hotel. The shower and toilet are in the same space, so when you shower the toiler gets all wet. The bathroom itself is small as well. With everything I know, I probably would have booked a room in the sister hotel right next door because it had the pool and breakfast. If however you want the best location on the beach for a fairly reasonable price and you don't care about the size of the room, then this is a pretty good hotel to book.

After being shocked to realize there was no elevator, we were told there was a handicapped room available. How do you think a handicapped person can climb 7 steps? NOT EASILY!!! 1) The first room they gave us only had a window that overlooked the dining room. That meant all diners and staff could look into the room if you opened the curtains. Needless to say, we did not. 2) The second room was only 7 steps above street level so we didn’t open the curtains in that room either because we were visible to the whole street. 3) The room was cleaned only twice during our five or six day stay. The front desk staff was friendly but limited as to what they could do. This is not a hotel that should be recommended by your company.

What a frustrating stay this was. The employees here were really nice but unfortunately this hotel sucks. There are no elevators. We have to constantly climb three flights of stairs, just to get to our room. Thankfully, the workers there helped us bring our luggage, but it was still very tiring to climb all those stairs. They gave us a room without a bed cover. Me and my wife went out to eat for lunch and we weren’t gone for more than two hours. When we came back the front desk told us that there are workers working on the roof and the only access was through the window in our room. They literally walked into our room with our stuff in the open, moved everything, and walked in with dirty shoes, and left dirty marks everywhere and on our chair where they used it to climb through the window. They said that they called our room, and since no one answered, it was OK for them to go in. They have my cell phone number on file and they could have called me to let me know what was going on. I get it, there was a problem on the roof that needed to be handled, but seriously, couldn’t call me on my phone to let me know, especially since I have my personal belongings out in the open?? Plus, whatever they were doing on the roof was causing a leakage on the bathroom ceiling and dirty water was dripping all on our toothbrushes and personal items. They gave us a different room with a sea view, but it was nothing special and it was tiny. This place is not worth it and not worth the money.

The outside of the hotel is under construction. Something you should know before you book this place. The shower door was hard to close whice means the whole bathroom floor was wet when we took showers. The restroom window handle was broken so I wasn’t able to open the window. There was no bell boy to carry our stuff to the room that was on the 5th floor without elevator. The manager didn’t really apologize for this experience was only sitting there and telling me this is the concept of boutique hotels.. Won’t stay here again.

Great hotel experience in a great location
Great hotel. Great location. Extremely helpful staff that allowed us to check in early and check out late. AND upgraded our room at no cost. Great breakfast in the sister hotel next door. And the cheapest parking in all of Tel Aviv - 60 NIS for a day and a half. Things to be aware of: - There is no elevator, but that wasn’t a problem for us. And they have a porter to help. - the rooms are small with little to no closet space.

A wonderful little gem-"The Herbert"
The best! We loved everything about this wonderful boutique hotel. It is welcoming, trendy and clean. You can't beat the location- right on the Tel Aviv promenade/beach! Nevo and his entire team were amazing. Special acknowledgment to Alexy and Natalia for their kindness and care. We enjoyed afternoon/early evening drinks at the bar and breakfast every morning was excellent! Just outside the hotel are many bus stops reaching all areas of the city as well as to inter-city trains stations.

Strange room design
The hotel is a very modern boutique hotel situated in the most amazing position. The staff are very helpful but there are a couple of faults in design. There is no lift but a porter. The main cause for concern is the fact there were no drawers or shelves in the room and a half hanging wardrobe which starts at around 2m high. You need to use a pole (like in a shop) to hang clothes on the rail. This arrangement didn’t work for us. Apart from that it was fine. Apparently they’re going to change it.
