Boutique Hotel Wellenberg

Great location right in the middle of the city, a walking distance to all the sights & nightlife. Nice breakfast garden and library. Ample but rather regular breakfast. Very friendly and helpful receptionists. Cleaning personnel made remarking noises outside our room early Sunday morning (while we had the Don't Disturb tag on), but didn't bother cleaning the room during the afternoon while we were out (and had the red tag removed). Standard room was quite small for two people, a bit shabby and worn. The shower was a hot&cold nightmare without any thermostat mixer. WiFi worked very well. Overall, a positive experience, if location matters to you as it did to us. A bit expensive compared to the overall quality, but Zürich is an expensive city.

Excellent location, dozens of restaurants near by. Small but confortable room adequate for a short visit. Nicely renovated old building.

Hotelli oli hyvä ja henkilökunta avuliasta. Aamiainen oli hyvä, muttei erinomainen. Ainoa asia mikä tökki, oli tiedonkulku. Oli varattu huone lisävuoteen, mutta kaikkia asioita sai erikseen pyytää reipasta, tosin ne yksitellen tuotiin reippaasti ja anteeksipyydellen. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, kävelymatkan päässä kaikesta tarvittavasta.

A very comfortable stay. Although it was only for one night, the room was large and roomy with a separate sitting area. The hotel is located in old town which is perfect for walking around and being close to everything. Parking is a bit of an issue as you have to park about 300 m away in a parking lot which are usually expensive in Zürich. But you are able to drive up to the hotel to drop off your luggage which helps.
