Few positives but lots of negatives
On hols and stayed in Canmore Coast. The main positives are it’s location which is excellent as it’s close to town centre and also right beside trans Canada highway. The other main positive is the pool and hot tub area which are both very nice. After that I am afraid it’s down hill. The room service is very poor , one day we had no room clean at all. When the room was cleaned it was very poorly done. The hand basin in bathroom was not cleaned once throughout our 7 night stay. But by far the biggest problem with the hotel is that the walls are paper thin and every little noise can be heard. So if next door is watching TV then you may as well be too. Several nights our next door neighbour left music on all night and no sleep was possible. We rang hotel services who said they would ring him to get him to stop the noise but they were unable. Even phone conversations can be clearly heard between rooms. If you want sleep then this ain’t the hotel for you.
By coincident, on checking out there was another guest in front of me who was complaining that his room hadn’t been cleaned the day before, so we weren’t the only ones. I mentioned all the issues on checking out and received a polite ‘ thanks for letting us know but I’m busy with other stuff ‘ response.
