Had a lovely stay, beautiful room with fire, clean, good service, restaurant great & amazing food. Tram just over the road & the park next door, great quiet location & not far from town.

We stayed here for 13 nights in this very luxurious and central hotel. Our deluxe room was spacious with a fantastic en-suite and walk in wardrobe. These deluxe rooms came with the use of the park lounge which was available to us all day. The hotels spa on the 9th floor was great with large swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The hotels surroundings were beautiful with mature trees and fantastic civic buildings.

Do not stay in this hotel on the executive floor if you need twin beds! My friend and I booked this floor, at reasonable expense, asideways, so nd needed twinbeds. The beds were the smallest beds we've ever seen! They had moved one against a small wall sideways, so the head of the bed was not against the wall, so the pillow kept falling off, as did the doona because the bed was so small. We put up with it for one night, and requested a new room the second night, even suggesting a smaller room with twin beds. Was shown a room with a king bed, told they could be separated, but they would only be a few inches apart because the bedside tables can't be moved. Told them to forget it, but asked for a bedside table & lamp for the bed they had moved. "No problem, of course" was the reply, never saw the bedside table or lamp. Very disappointing, first time we've stayed there, normally stay at Rialto or Langham, both far superior.

Loved everything! First stay but won’t be the last. Usually stay closer to shops, but Park Hyatt was easy to access trams so a short distance to stores. Close to Fitzroy Gardens for a relaxing stroll and visit to Conservatory and Cpt Cook’s Cottage. Staff extremely helpful & considerate. Room was huge and luxurious, bathroom and dressing room also spacious. Toiletries beautiful. I picked up a very good rate (Mon evening) so this was exceptional value. Will definitely stay again.
