Let me begin by saying that I have never given a 5 star rating to a hotel but Arden Forest Inn has earned it! Our room was very private and spacious. The attention to detail and special touches were evident throughout. The location is far enough away from the busy plaza but close enough to walk. Having a fully stocked guest kitchenette was another plus. We'll be back!

This was an absolute gem of a place. We enjoyed the garden and comfort of the room, but didn't have a chance to use the pool. We were pleasantly surprise that they had a Level2 EV charger for guest use. We had a lovely walk into town for dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Enchanting weekend
We would definitely stay here again and recommend The Arden Forest Inn. Our 3 night stay was very enjoyable; we walked to town for meals, shopping and also to catch our shuttle to white water rafting with Noah’s Adventures. (Noah’s is a top notch company! The lunch was delicious and very generous! We also enjoyed a dinner show at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre. (Generous and fair pricing for dinner) We had time to cool down after walking home from town in the refreshing pool! It felt like we had the place to ourselves! We were lucky enough to share the grounds with a Mama doe and her darling fawns. What a treat that was! The shared kitchen has a Keurig and coffee cups along with cream in the fridge that we enjoyed each morning. This place is charming and a perfect place to stay in Ashland!
We went to Skout three times to have beer and once for dinner. It’s along the creek and across from Lithia park, which is a fun people watching (and deer) spot! Skout had the best street tacos!! Generous portions of meat and accompaniments! They also carry many beers on tap and allow several tastings! They carry gluten free beer too!
What a fun weekend!

The innkeepers have wonderful taste in room decorations which makes for a relaxing "customized" experience. I stayed in the "carriage house" which is just off the main house. There is a swimming pool 30 steps from my room.
The bed was very comfortable, and the thermostat worked well, thankfully, because the high temps were in the 90s.
The backyard is lush and relaxing, with tables and chairs in several locations for games or quiet conversation. The wind chimes complement the surroundings beautifully.
Yesterday while I was in the pool, a male and female deer casually walked into into the backyard, accompanied by their two fawns.
The room was on the small side compared to the corporate inn/motel chains.

Disappointing that this property no longer makes or offers breakfast. (Owner told us he was tired of doing it!)
Had we not seen the photos of the delicious breakfasts, we would have booked somewhere else!
The grounds were pretty, but the very old accordion door on the bathroom was less than ideal.

I had the best sleep here! It was so quiet and peaceful - an oasis really. Our room was comfy and the bed and pillows were perfect. It is an easy walk to the center of town. The property grounds are a haven with lots of different sitting areas - I sat outside and read many times during my stay. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay at Arden Forest. The location is perfect, about a 10 minute walk to town through a quiet, leafy residential area. The off-street parking was convenient. The grounds were beautiful; I wish we'd had time to spend a few hours relaxing in the garden. Our room was great -very clean with a comfy bed. The shower temperature and pressure were so appreciated after a chilly night of camping just before our visit. We barely interacted with the hosts, which was fine. Overall, a terrific option for Ashland and a great value if you book a few months out. Highly recommended.

The lovely innkeeper met me for a late checkin at 19 pm. There was e-vehicle charging right by my room. The sidewalks were a tad rough to navigate with my rolling suitcase - but overall all lovely stayover in Ashland

Nice B&B
Owners are very nice. Great breakfast. Toilet leaking in room 1 so the tile was coming up and damp. But the room was clean and well stocked.

My Memorable stay at Arden Forest Inn ...
I had a very lovely stay at the Arden forest Inn. Corbet and Bill were wonderful hosts, and we had some delightful conversations during our delicious breakfasts. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts -- both the conversations and the food made it a memorable stay.
