Candlewood Suites Detroit Ann Arbor

No-one st front desk on checkin (mid afternoon) - took 3 phone calls to get someone. First room not cleaned. Second room shower didn’t work. No maintenance man available so third room required.

Front desk was surprisingly unknowledgable about procedure for things like service needed for the room and payment. My room had the wrong credit card on file (one that did not belong to me, nor did I provide) and was unsure how to charge me for pantry items that I wanted to pay for separately and not placed on my room. Even more frustrating, the inability to perform this task was posed as an issue on my end because I did not want the items charged to my room and wanted to pay for them outright. My card was then taken down on a piece of paper to resolve at a later time, to which I felt very uncomfortable considering an incorrect card had been used to potentially bill my room. When I asked for it back, I was told that it would be fine and shredded later. This made me extremely uncomfortable.

I have a nice stay

In town for a few days on business and just picked the hotel closes to where I needed to be and it turned out to be amazing. The price was great, staff very nice and the room was big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. If I am in the area again I would stay at Candlewood Suites.

Our suite was spotless, roomy and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Candlewood Suites is located minutes drive from many shopping areas and downtown Ann Arbor.
