Riad Tanjil

It's a lovely place, the food is delicious, and the owners are very nice.

My husband and I had a 14 hour layover in Casablanca on our flight from Boston to Dakar. We knew we would be exhausted when we arrived, and were not up for the adventure of a quick sightseeing. We were looking for a restful and relaxing place to while away our time and refresh ourselves.Claire communicated with us clearly and promptly before our arrival. Kebir welcomed us punctually at the airport and was warm and informative on the short drive to their establishment. Our fantastic experience continued as Claire met us at the door and let us straight into a wonderful hot breakfast with fresh squeezed Moroccan orange juice, eggs cooked to order, Moroccan tea, special freshly prepared Moroccan breads, an assortment of jams and plentiful butter. Their place is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Our room was large and elegantly decorated. We followed our overnight flight with a long, luxurious, peaceful nap by the serene swimming pool. Our enormous bathroom, abundant hot water and our giant rain head shower continued our heavenly experience. The other guests were interesting, but we were able to find plenty of privacy as well. Dinner was exquisitely prepared couscous with braised vegetables and beef. We could not have been happier with our experience in Riad Tanjil and recommend it wholeheartedly to any visitors to the area. No matter how high your expectations, Claire and Kebir and their excellent staff will not disappoint.

Delicious food. Excellent staff. I had a 14 hour layover in Casablanca after a flight from Cape Town via France. I was exhausted and grumpy. Riad Tanjil's shuttle picked me up from the airport, let me check into my spotless room 3 hours early, served me wonderful lunch by the pool. A lovely little oasis. I hope I get the chance to go back.

Clean, serene, intimate, exceptional service. They catered to my every need. From a late night dinner, midday tea to a trip into the nearby shopping community to buy souvenirs. Riad Tanjil is a quiet, quaint half board right outside the Mohammed V Airport, Morocco. The price is extremely agreeable and the couple who runs it is awesome. They offer free shuttle service to and from the airport, and made me a full dinner though I got in after 11pm local time. Also, they offer shuttle service into the local area for exploration and shopping or can provide a rental car if you'd prefer that. I loved it from the moment I arrived. If you crave a clean, serene and intimate experience with exceptional service and a taste of the local cuisine then add Riad Tanjil to your list.
