Radisson San Jose-Costa Rica

Great hotel, lovely staff. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to pack it and take it home with me. And the shower is the best I have come across on my travels so far.

Extremely comfortable room and bed. Now that we have the only positive thing to say of the Raddison out of the way, let me explain why I will not be returning nor recommending this hotel. It wasn't the fact that the check-in process was ridiculously long, confusing and over-complicated (They wouldn't let my guest in without producing some form of ID, which wasn't an easy or friendly process.) It wasn't the flickering lights, leaking bathroom, key cards not working, or even the hot tub being closed. It wasn't even that room service never answered and wasn't open past 9 (despite their own menu in the room says midnight) No, the reason I will not be returning was the extremely loud, incessant, non-stop, consistent, rhythmic, maddening BANGING that can be heard all hours of the day, because of the construction being done on the hotel. The banging woke us up each morning and would continue past sunset. Absolutely unacceptable, especially from a worldwide name like Raddsion. Front desk did nothing to help and barely recognized the inconvenience. Nos vemos Raddison, gracias por el dolor de cabeza.

Excelente, quiet and confortable, near to the busy city center.

The hallways can get confusing but overall it was an amazing stay

I was very pleased with my stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the desk and 2nd table made working on my laptop comfortable. The bed was perfect as well. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast was also top notch.

The room was dirty, definitely not cleaned before our arrival. The carpet had multiple large stains. The mirror above the headboard and behind the tv we’re not cleaned. The bathroom mirror was not cleaned. We could see someone had written on them when it fogged up from the shower. The furniture was dirty and completely scratched. Some of the cabinet doors were off the hinges. I would not stay here again

Onsite restaurant was very nice and clean and the workers were friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue about the rooms were they did not come with a mini fridge to keep our waters cold or a microwave. Other than that, we had a great experience

The room had a very musty smell, the towels and bed sheets weren’t that clean and there were tiny ants in the bed. When we went to the pool it was extremely cold and the jacuzzi was lukewarm and had dirty bubbles inside of it. We asked to have it fixed and nothing was done

Nice business hotel within walking distance of city center.
