I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before when it was The Four Seasons and always had exceptional service so I expect nothing other than that. I noticed the name change but thought nothing of it. Besides I live in Newburgh. We stayed for Valentines. One night added later, I went to inform the front desk I was told they had to close out the first and open the second and charge a second deposit. We went back and forth, she called her manager Victoria who was very rude on the phone, I eventually just paid it. Customer service has went right out the window in this place. Later that evening I called for towels, from my cell phone cause they have no phones in the rooms. I was told by Jessica that she was with a customer and I needed to come to the front desk. I went out and as I expected, no customer and Jessica sitting legs crossed, at the front desk on her cell phone talking to her friend on speaker. She immediately gives me attitude because I was recording her and she goes on to say “You should have left when you had a chance”. Clearly referring to the morning incident that she was not present for. The rooms are poorly heated. Hot water is not hot. I was told it’s now privately owned by Victoria and it’s showing. Kids running through hallways. Weed smells. It’s becoming run down and turning into a hotel for our local DSS clients. Abandoned cars in rear parking area. Rude staff! Don’t book here if you looking for upscale customer service.
