This theatre district Boston Hyatt is ideally located: walking distance to Chinatown, the Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, the Commons, Boylston and Newbury Streets, etc. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.
The Hyatt--all customers should know--charges you extra for the pleasure of being their guest. After we checked out, my card was charged $35.00 for a "Destination Fee." I called to see what the charge was for, since I was told that the card would only be charged for incidentals, as is typical of any hotel stay. The man to whom I spoke told me (in full seriousness) that the charge was for the "free wi-fi upgrade and the free clam chowder." I responded that neither was "free" if they are charging customers for the alleged complimentary perks. Another company that manipulates its customers to expand its profit margin. Otherwise, great hotel!
