Such a lovely place to stay. The room was great. A bit too warm for us even with the heating off. We could have asked for a fan but didn't! Dinner and breakfast were great. Surprising & exciting choices on the dinner menu. Really convenient if you are visiting Blickling Estate - you can see it from the landing window!

The staff were really friendly, the room was well presented and clean. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and the food was fantastic- huge portions! My only small criticism would be that the shower head probably wanted replacing but aside from that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

A charming country pub and restaurant with comfortable, cosy rooms. Really good food, delicious breakfasts, and the staff were perfect. A great place to stay to explore north Nordolk.

All aspects superb; staff, accommodation, location ,food and beer ! My wife and I would go back anytime . Covid precautions perfectly fine with cleanliness and social distancing implemented well .

Overall it was A good stay but a few issues. From a woman’s perspective no decent set up for bathroom make up etc. The double bed was comfy but small. Breakfast was excellent but way to big. We enjoyed it but left half !!

Stayed for a night here after visiting Cromer and Sheringham. Lovely sized room on the first floor of an old pub. This also being the only slight downside as our room was above the bar (fortunately no lock-in 😀). Warmly greeted by one of the young bar-staff who also booked us in for evening dinner (there’s not much else around). Glad we did, as the food was delicious with great sized portions. The Cromer crab and tenderloin stroganoff were impressive. Breakfast the following morning was equally good. Would definitely recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
