Holiday Inn FRENCH QUARTER-CHATEAU LEMOYNE

Great location and for under $100 a night in the french quarter it was a good deal. However the 5th floor hallway had an odd order and the carpet was worn and there was visible dirt that would come up with a vacuum. The bathroom was a bit on the small side. I had to step into the shower in order to open and close the door, Paint was pealing from the lower part of the bathroom door and the shower enclosure was only a half wall not closing all the way. There was a low drown of a fan or motor noise coming from the bathroom that I could not turn off. Closing the bathroom door at night made it easier to sleep. Not real loud but noticeable if you are sensitive to a stead hum while trying to sleep. don't feel the condition of the hotel room and hallway holds up to Holiday inn standards. We did love the location and the staff and for under $100 a night I would consider staying again but I would not pay over $100 a night for this room.

Nice hotel, great room and a beautiful pool area. The staff were all fantastic. A block away from the quarter but you'd never know it.

Loved staying here in the French Quarter. Chateau Lemoyne is actually named after the founder of New Orleans. Great location and easy walk to restautants, cafes, Bourbon Street, Canal Street, Jackson Square, Cafe DuMonde, etc. Rich, rich history in New Orleans. Took a VIP tour and learned so much interesting history -- especially loved hearing about the "neutral territory" between French and early America settlers.

Excellent service.

I chose this hotel because it was in the quarter and was reasonably priced for its location. I would definitely return. No complaints.
