The hotel was outdated in terms of the facilities as well as customer service with stained carpets from the 80´s and where guests encounter staff with superior attitude.
The first warning sign appeared even before arriving the hotel when we received an info mail indicating that we should book sunbeds on advance, preferably one week before the arrival, with extra cost for each sunbed and time slot. This is just a brazen way to pump money from the guests. There is a nice restaurant next to the Sheraton hotel with better rates for sunbeds so we warmly encourage you to go there instead of using the hotel´s sunbeds.
Here are some examples of arrogant behaviours by the staff we experienced during our stay;
- Person in the front desk didn´t know how to speak English or refused, and practically threw us out of her desk rudely.
- Waiter asked us to go to take coffee ourselves from the coffee machine but brought coffee on the table for other guests.
We also encountered friendly and helpful staff which brought joy in our days. However, those encounters were an exception and thus we started to avoid interacting with the staff.
There was also sloppiness in the room service since we needed to ask more than once water and/or toilet paper for the room.
There is a substantial chance of unfriendly and arrogant behaviour by the staff. Hence, we warmly recommend you to look for a hotel from somewhere else where the guests are appreciated.
