I had the best vacation at sportsman's lodge. It was a very fun experience something going on every day. The staff are good people. The service was good. The food is delicious. The ladies working at the bar Ana and Hazel es mi amigas. I will definitely stay here every time I am in san José.

A wonderful stay. The room is extremely large and while older had everything needed. I live the hotel, the old mansion is beautiful. There are a couple of nice sitting areas for quiet time and the back veranda is a wonderful place for morning coffee.

I love this place. This trip was just a weekend trip, but wonderful as always. as with any hotel, what truly separates the best are the staff this place has the best staff have any hotel around whether it’s the owner, the management, servers or housekeeping, you’re always treated like family. Manfred does such a great job of making everyone feel like a priority. The bar staff is phenomenal, service with a smile (beautiful smiles).
