Opportunities to improve in customer service
I was left with a little mixed feelings with the hotel — it is very modern and photographable as you can see from the pictures, but it has some opportunities to improve in terms of service and functionality.
Pros
+ Very clean and excellent location
+ Breakfast was amazing
+ Even though I didn’t book/request a room with a sea view I was given one
+ I requested a room from the top floors and was able to get a room from the 15th floor
+ Some of the staff members were absolutely gold, always ensuring we were doing great
Cons
- For some reason the room rate when paid at the hotel was more than the room rate when booked from hotels.com. I asked the reason for this from the hotel and they had no answer for it (it was not tax related difference).
- From our party of people, majority had to request a room change due to noise, inpracticality (one room was so small that a double bed was placed to block the bathroom door), or due to other deficits in the rooms. It seems like similarly priced rooms are very different in terms of quality, and the hotel seem to be used to people wanting to switch rooms.
- I had agreed a late checkout at 2PM (which I appreciate a lot), and while I was finishing packing at around 1.45PM a lady knocked my door and demanded that I leave the room immediately, and that I am no longer allowed to stay. This was definitely the poorest customer service I have ever experienced, and I was very sad it had to be my last memory of the hotel.
