"Ich habe auf einer Velotour dort übernachtet. Hotel liegt direkt an den Velorouten 5 und 8. Mit viel Style renoviertes Gebäude. Self Check-in funktionierte bestens. Restaurant im Gebäude. Extrem ruhig in der Nacht, direkt am Aare Ufer. "

"The room was just perfect but I had a really bad nights sleep because of a constant dull noise, which I’m guessing is related to the heating system. I couldn’t turn it off and it was impossible to ignore. What a shame as it is such a lovely room and the self check-in couldn’t have been easier. Parking was great too and the room was sparkling clean but I wish I could have switched that noise off. "

"Breakfast was good. Location was perfect, no need for a car as a tram stop is in front of the hotel. Restaurants and shops are nearby. Check in/out was quick and efficient. They don’t have a parking garage but there is a public one for 35 francs for the whole day about 1.5 blocks away. No complaints. Will stay there again "

This is an old Swiss hotel, so it's dated, but has lots of charm, especially the common areas and the breakfast room. "

"We had a gorgeous room with a lake view and small porch. This was suite (upgraded) room. The ceiling was super high and the room was well-appointed. The restaurant overlooks the lake and was lovely. We had great service in the restaurant and for drinks in the courtyard. We used the laundry service which was excellent but very pricey."
