Room spotless, great shower, beds too firm. Suppers reasonably priced, not an extensive menu but adequate. Servers attentive, professional."

"They say first impressions count... I chose the Kyriad in Poulainville based on the hotels proximity to Amiens. When arriving it was a number of minutes before the reception staff answered the bell which I had to hit twice for attention. As this was a Road Trip, I had a number of bags and asked if a luggage trolley was available to be told not by the chap on the front desk. (See final words) We were then told the restaurant next door was closed but food was available to be ordered and either...

"Our host was very flexible regarding our arrival time and was there to greet us warmly in person. The rooms and shared areas were tastefully decorated and cosy. We were made to feel very we.come. We were served an excellent breakfast."

"Super close to the train station, great parking at a reasonable rate, great continental breakfast. Desk clerks were alway friendly and helpful when asked any questions. The hotel is in the same building as a supermarket, which made it easy for us to grab a snack or water for on the road. Centrally located to many restaurants, bars, cafés, shops, etc. Great pedestrian mall, terraces, etc. Amiens has a great vibe!"

"This is a great hotel to stay at. Its location makes it convenient to the train station and many of the attractions in Amiens. It is a walkable city with some lovely parks. Staff were pleasant rather than friendly but helpful when needed. This is our second stay at this hotel and we would stay again if in Amiens."

"The rooms are above the resturant. Our room was nice, and clean, and really good sized. The hotel is next door to another good resturant, and there are several good places to eat within 100m or so. Go to the underground war museum across the street, and learn about WW1 and the western front."

"We have stayed at this Novotel many times before, sadly it’s now looking very tired and definitely needs modernising/updating. Staff always very helpful and efficient but during this stay they were definitely under staffed. Probably won’t stay here again until the premises gets some attention "

The hotel is near the centre with the shops, bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk. There's plenty of parking nearby which is inexpensive. "

"Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. My family and I felt very safe and welcome at this hotel. Very close to Beaumont Hamel Memorial site and the other Trail of the Caribou sites as well. Great breakfast. We stayed two nights and ate dinner at the Beluga (hotel restaurant) one evening. Food was delicious as were drinks. Reasonable prices. Great staff. "

"Lovely quirky property in fantastic location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and v patient with my awful French. Breakfast was delightful with a fantastic view of the cathedral’s rose window. Nice room with a small balcony and again a view of the cathedral. Nice quiet street good secure parking very close."
