Campania hotellit

We stayed with our children in annex Villa Aminta double double room. It was actually quite well matching the expectations of our family: rooms were clean, tiled floors, air conditioning, free internet access (used only our own laptop). The breakfast at hotel is average level, basic staff served for free but you have to pay extra per fruits, bacon, eggs etc. Also the juices served are not at all meeting the normal 4 star hotel standards. Had lunch at the hotel and that was good but a bit pricy. Excellent views are definately a big plus for this hotel, but if you would want to have a view over the town with the bay of Naples, choose hotel room with this view instead of Villa. From villa room balcony the view is over the bay but not over Sorrento. The pools are gooda and our children loved them but sunbeds cost extra and the water is a bit chilly. For hotel courtesy you are served with umbrellas and sunchairs. We used once the shuttle since we had our own car and the shuttle worked fine at that time. Watch out for taxis when getting back, they are costing triple compared to Rome. Overall Sorrento is a very nice place to stay for 4-6 nigths max and Aminta is a good choice for your stay.

Upealla kalliorannalla, hieno uima-allasalue, josta huikeat maisemat merelle, ystävällinen palvelu. Huoneet siistejä ja ilmastointi toimiva, oma terassikin oli. Parisataa metriä satamaan. Receptionin aukioloajat voisivat olla pitemmät. Erittäin edullinen hinta tasoon nähden. Kävellen muutama sata metriä myös Ischian suurimman kylän keskustaan. Hyvin rauhallinen hotelli.

We are a Finnish couple and visited Ischia and Aragona Hotel for a week. Hotel was absolutely great! The staff was very helpful and polite, and they organized our trip to Pompei and Vesuvius (they also would have had other trips available). We especially enjoyed roof-top swimming pool and its view to the harbour and the mountain (even though pool wasn't so big). The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable and were cleaned once or twice a day. By the way, if you happen to be in the room when the cleaner lady knocks your door, if you don't need anything she will give you chocolate anyway. :)

This hotel is recently built and is thus in a good condition. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was fine - they even served you fresh cappuccino on demand.

Hotelli oli siisti, aamupala kohtuullisen hyvä sekä henkilökunta ystävällistä. Sijainti oli rannalla, joka on sesongin aikana varmaankin todella vilkas päivin ja iltaisinkin. Nyt maaliskuun lopulla paikka oli tosi rauhallinen. Autolla pääsi nopeasti ja helposti Salernon ja Sorreton suuntaan.
