Golden Tulip Jiyeh Marina - Jiyeh

I'd have to say that this is great hotel. Rooms were ok but lobby and reception are absolutely great. Our room was big and had a separate kitchen which we didn't need. Room was clean and nice but there isn't anything special. Location of the hotel is good if you are into Hamra. We like traveling after good food and we didn't find that many restaurants that we like close to this hotel. Also if you are into shopping they is some stores in Hamra but you can find better shopping elsewhere. We will definately return to Beirut - it was completely safe there - but we'll stay in some other area.

Excellent location, near everything. Hotel new, modern. Cleaning 3+. Good idea would be to have one chair in the room and also some small stand or at least few hooks in the bahtroom. Chairs in the balcony would also be nice. Service was nice, polite, no complains. Next time I can consider the same place.

Hotelli oli vanhahko. Sijainti erittäin hyvä Hamra-kadun välittömässä läheisyydessä. Henkilökunta oli valmis auttamaan esim. nettiyhteyden luomisessa, joka kuului hintaan. Sängyt olivat hyvät. Aamupala riittävä ja kahvikin näin suomalaisella hyvinkin juotavaa. Ensi käynnillä asun samassa hotellissa.

Le Gray had the best concierge service I have every experienced. Already before our arrival, the concierge had booked restaurants for us according to our request and also made recommendations for lunch and dinner places for other days based on our preferences that were spot on! The room was great, the facilities were modern and stylish, the location is right in the city center and close to the Beirut Souk. You could easily walk west to the Corniche or restaurants in east Beirut from the hotel if you so chose. The hotel staff you could also help negotiate a taxi price.
