Stayed here for 9 days for business and it truly fulfilled all my needs and felt like second home. Rooms are big and have fridge, microwave, ironing board, iPad radio,very well functioning WiFi for free which all made the stay very enjoyable. The only thing I missed was some kind of comfortable armchair for which there would have been plenty of room. […] Service is very personal and good. They would print you out anything you need with no problems or fees and even deliver that to you room if you wanted. Great hotel with great connections to city and Jamaica plain which is great vivid neghborhood. Nice parks next to hotel for jogging, especially Jamaica pond is worth the visit. Clean, quite, and convenient. For the most part exceptionally friendly and personable staff. Best mattress my wife and I have slept on in some time. Would return in the future.

Overall, it was OK -- but just. The room we got smelled strongly of dog, the noise from the road outside was pretty loud, and the neighborhood was pretty bleak (our Cabbie on the way back one night told us a few years ago we'd have been killed there, but now it was OK). The room is clean and cozy. Facilities are well maintained. The staffs are nice. Free in-room WiFi available. Location 2 minutes to Green E line Back of The Hill station. I will recommend it to anyone on a business trip.

Nice (smaller) hotel. Staff was very friendly and tried to help accommodate our needs. That being said, we had a two night stay and our room was not made up once during our stay, even after notifying the front desk. Very disappointing as everything else about this hotel was fine.

The hotel seems new or refurbished, and is fairly small. The room was sizable, but only had a desk chair and no arm chairs. There was coffee in the room, but no tea. There was a microwave and a nice mini-fridge. The neighborhood isn't terrific, with only a Subway in walking distance (at least as far as I could tell.. I found this hotel on hotels.com and booked it because it was very reasonably priced and right between the Sam Adams and Harpoon Breweries. I had no idea the hotel was going to be so AMAZING!! I have to say it was the cleanest, most roomie, friendly and well priced place I have ever stayed. I have payed twice the price for less than 1/2 of the quality […] stay we had there. The staff was amazing, recommended a WONDERFUL place for both dinner and breakfast and was extremely nice. I was interviewing at the huge Boston VA and it was the perfect hotel. It was cozy, clean, and incredibly close. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. Public transit stops right outside the door. Highly recommended!

The hotel was very good. It is conveniently located to my son's apartment. I will return. I thought the price was right and the hotel was well run. One suggestion, they should put a few chairs in each room. There was only one chair in the room. It's easy to get everywhere from this location.

Hotel looked brand new. Rooms were clean, bedding in great shape, room and hallways smelled like everything was just painted (not a problem). The hotel staff were extremely helpfull, they printed out maps to help find places to eat and local attractions. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and very professional, it was a joy to stay at this hotel!!

Everyone was extremely friendly. The rooms are small but perfect size and the bed is to die for. Cute little convienant microwave and fridge in the room as well. Not to far from a great restaurant down the street called the mission. Great valet service for your car as well. My boyfriend and I only stayed one night but we had a wonderful time!

This is the second time we've stayed here and this time was even better than our last, which is saying something, as last time was wonderful too. We were met by the valet, Jose, who welcomed us again, remembering us from our last stay and made our check-in process smooth. The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was great (could have used another chair in the room) except for the occupants of the room overhead on the 4th floor. 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there was pounding and thumping overhead until we called the desk for assistance. Would not recommend room 305.

Hotel is very new and staff are very helpful. Very convenient for T into town but not very close to nice restaurants. Good sized room and bathroom although would have liked 2 chairs instead of just one. There was enough room.

Although located out of the centre the T trolley stopped right outside the door and took you straight into town in no time. just be aware ... currently (10/15/12) on saturdays and sundays the train's last stop is about 4 exits from normal weekday stop.... about a 10 min walk. on weekdays the normal stops are back in action and only have to walk down the street. very clean and friendly staff. free breakfast consists of an apple and plastic cup of fresh ice water. can purchase […] other items in their very small cafe. our room's coffee pot did not work and staff gave us free coffee to compensate. if getting 2 double beds be prepared for 1 bed to be smack up against wall and other bed up against window. would go back to this hotel again though. price was very reasonable for area. As a single first time visitor to Boston this was a brilliant hotel. Round the corner from NorthEastern University with restarants and bars within walking distance, the T train stopping right outside and 15 minutes into downtown Boston. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room well sized and kitted out. Would visit again.

the room was located in the basement which is very claustrophobic and unusual. The size of the room was very small compared to its price. Surrounding area outside the room felt like garbage dump or junck yard.Overall bad experience.

The hotel is new and beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, it made you feel almost like you were staying in someone's house, not a hotel. The beds are really comfortable, bathroom and toiletries are great. Hotel is very clean and rooms are decent size. It is very close to the MFA, Brigham Women's Hospital, etc. Right now there is not much commercial activity in the neighborhood so food, drinks not readily available. It looks like the area is changing so that might not be the case in the future. The staff is very nice and attentive and they are enthusiastic about their new hotel! I had made reservations first for one night, then added a second, which meant I had two reservations. Unfortunately this meant I had to change rooms, but the staff took care of everything and couldn't be nicer. Free WiFi in the hotel and there was a strong signal, worked great. Enjoyed my stay. Service was great. Staff fixed the bathtub drain switch as soon as I alerted them that it was stuck. Found several very visible hairs on the tub when I first went to use it, but no further cleanliness issues over my three-day stay. Loved the spa water in the lobby lounge. I would definitely stay here again.
