Knights Inn Hallandale - Hallandale Beach

I read a lot of the reviews on here and was a little skeptical. But i was really surprised. Other then the hotel being old that's it. Everything else was great.

Picture listed at hotels.com must have been very old. This place seemed pretty run down and had few redeeming qualities. We just needed a place to stay overnight before leaving on a cruise and this did suit our purpose. Would not stay here again. Great Cuban restaurant in walking distance was the most positive part of the experience.

I needed accommodations near the golf course. The location and price were perfect for me. For the golfer the hotel is fine. Security of the ground floor key entry door is questionable and the AC had no internal control so the noisy motor ran all night. Bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.

The continental breakfast was horrible and we ask for more towels and they gave us only 2 towels and their was five of us! I expected better service for my family from out of town and I work for the city of Hallandale

While "clean", it had not been remodeled for 30 years or more. The bed was rock hard. Don't expect a good nights sleep here. When we asked for two more of their child size pillows, they left two pillow cases. The tiny tub with it's straight curtain rod meant fighting with the shower curtain to take a shower. Great location to beach, racetrack and shopping center but the rooms need to be remodeled.

This place was horrible... there was a mouse in the hallways near the restaurant. I was told there was wifi but there was none. I asked for a non-smoking room and the room reeked of smoke(like there was a chain smoking contest going on). When I complained, I was told I was given a non-smoking room and that management cant control if guests smoke. People […] actually live in the hotel and the rooms that are empty are rented as hotel rooms. The air conditioning was broken and when I asked I was given an attitude. I asked for a room near the car because my father is handicapped, they placed the room near the pool. For the price I expected a key card, what I received was an actual key. When I checked in even though the front desk person (an older gentleman) was with no one, he made me wait for 15 minutes before getting my info. I do not understand how this establishment is even on hotels.com. People stay anywhere but here. By the way the rooms were old, the sheets had holes in it and it was just nasty. Lisätietoja

Not enough parking for all guest possible, not enough hot water to sustain entire hotel and hospitality of late night manager was laking.

Had no internet outside the lobby. Didn't realize other motels offer slightly more(internet in room) for the same price. Rooms were huge,ok location with a vehicle rental,would stay again if price were comparable & didn't have to use reservations. Overall worth staying again.

We should have known when we booked this MOTEL that we get what we pay for. It was pretty bad. It looked like someone was actually living in the room beside us. And in the room on the other side of us I am pretty sure there were some hookers going in there. The free continental breakfast consisted of boiled hotdogs, yes hotdogs, and packaged cookies […] and donuts from walmart. It was also hard to find where we check in at. It had "Mar Bay" motel on the doors and when they printed the receipt it had another name, other than Knights Inn. Save yourself and don't stay here. Lisätietoja

first room the matress were passed dated... sheets were clean...floors (tile) were very dirty, went out and bought a mop to clean the floors...after two nights went to the reception and and asked a change of room...the second room was alot better but again the floors were very very dirty...

Slept well. Everything was very clean. 10 minute walk to beach.

This hotel is dirty expensive and location was good but other hotels in this area I stayed at are much better for same price. I will never stay again.

Front office staff very helpful. The location is amazing. Within walking distance you have a Walmart, Boston Market, U.S. Post Office, Office Depot, Star Bucks, Hallandale Beach access, Winn Dixie Store, Dollar General, Ross, Burlington and so much more. We just wanted to sleep before the trip home and we couldn´t and beacuase the bad condition of the beds we almost did not get some sleep at all.

Not a bad place to stay but it wasn't great. Had to take out my own trash and only 2 of the 3 people in our room were given the free continental breakfast. We were also only given 2 towels per day.

We did not rent a room to spend a lot of time in it so it was okay. The room was in moderately good condition and clean enough . Bedding was adequate, new pillows required! If you want Sheraton facilities don't stay here. Your pickiness level and reason for stay will dictate your opinion of this facility. (The pool was beautiful!)

Well located, clean, small rooms. Nice pool area. This is a bargain in the area, and if you just want a clean, safe, convenient place to sleep, it's fine.

The room smelled of smoke! smoke free hotel? Room looked clean but very ordinary. Looked and feel like a strip motel. Shouldn't be on Expedia!

Don't go there!! Hot dogs for breakfast. Two of my three nights had no working TV. Don't go there EVER!!!!!

It surpassed my expectations given the price, which was very affordable. The staff, especially Lily and Noel were very friendly and helpful. The location was fabulous, with a large variety of stores all in walking distance. The beach was a short walk over a bridge and from there going left to Hollywood Beach or right to Sunny Isles or Downtown was a […] breeze once I got the hang of the buses. Aventura Mall is also a short fifteen minute ride on the bus. The stay was only for one night. The room was freezing and there was no way to adjust the temperature, except to turn it off. It is in a good location, with access to Aventura & Hallandale. The property is showing signs of wear, and is in need of maintainence. The sheets were old and pilling. For one night it was ok, if this had been my destination, […] I would have been disappointed. It's economy so I did not expect 5 star amenities. The staff was quite courteous and the place was well kept and comfortable. I love the pool area and the grounds are immaculate. If you are looking to save money, it's the perfect place and is conveniently located, close to the highways and eateries.

Unforgivable in this day and age that there is no property-wide WiFi. Access is limited to the lobby, dining room and pool area and one must request access at the front desk, who then input the password themselves on your device. The property looks like something out of the 70s. Parking was inadequate, there's supposed to be one spot per room, at least […] on the north wing where we stayed, but forget about parking if you intend to stay out late... which rules out South Beach. Okay, that's a bit extreme, but you get the picture. Got awakened at 9:15 Monday morning by a phone call from the front desk to move my car, which was parked in an open unmarked (read "No Parking") area. I suppose that's easier than trying to find the illegally parked car that took my spot, for which I had a permit. As for the front desk... could not reach them from my phone, in fact, could not reach anything from my room phone... calls, even "0" were routed to the AT&T operator. They of course had no such problems reaching me. A call to the front desk from my cell yielded a promise to have it looked in w/in 48 hours. Yippee... the next guest can thank me for their working phone. The water supply in the shower was buggy all weekend long... flashing hot and cold. Pay extra care to changes in the water pressure... get out when you feel a difference or else you'll face a nasty (hot or cold) surprise. Lisätietoja

Entering stair case to get to room, there where people sitting in the stairway smoking and drinking, looked like a public housing site. Asked fr a additional pillow they said they where busy, had to wait till next day to get one. Noisy people chating in hall ways, beds made lose when u moved in them. Horrible experience.

The room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean. For its location close to the beach, it was very reasonably priced. The desk staff was very friendly and professional.

Do not and I mean DO NOT stay here. I stayed literally 9 minutes before asking for another room. Gave that room 3 minutes. Rooms in poor shape, furniture even worse. Ohhhh and they have internet....in the lobby but does not go to the rooms. Literally 10 ft outside the lobby, you loose connection. The service was probably the part that I found most humorous. […] The attendant at the front desk was "not able" to change my room the first time without approval from the manager via phone call. Then would not change my room at all not was I able to speak to the manager on the phone because he was out to eat with his children. Hotel has no internet service. Has no hair dryer. 4 of us and there are 2 towers. When asked to have more towers the front desk do not have key to the storage room. Parking is out side the hotel. No coffe maker, No Fridge
