Queen Villa and Spa - Gili Trawangan

We stayed here for 1 night at the end of May, beautiful resort, outlook stunning, superb luxury villa with private pool. we were upgraded to luxury villa on arrival by hotel staff without extra cost which was a nice gesture. The public pool is also gorgeous. We were provided cycle to ride in gilli island again complementary from resort and drove ourselves […] around the island, very easy, not too busy. We ate lunch and breakfast on the beach and it was a bliss, absolutely beautiful setting with the clean and white sand pvt. beach. USP of queens villa is you can see sunset relaxing at their beach. Last but not the least Superb staff...especially Mr. Nasrul was always at our service and I think he gave us the best hospitality while our stay...I would always come back to this resort for sure... Its a relatively new entrant in the Spa Resort category in Gili. It will need a little time to stabilise itself and up the efficiency. All the same it was a good stay.

The hotel is far from everything and nothing is done to help the travelers reach the harbour ! The only thing is the public "horse car" which costs 75k IDR by travel. At the end of our stay we had paid more for horse cars than the hotel !!

Queen Villa is a five star building with a one star level of service. While staff were always polite, their ability to manage and organise seemed lacking. I had to ask 4 times for someone to come an unlock the safe in our room. It took 5 conversations with reception to get an extra blanket sent to the room.It was a battle to get room service.The level […] of English of staff was low. I waited for 2 hours for room service to arrive on the ineptness occasion I did order it. Needless to say I didn't order it again. Drinks prices seemed to fluctuate on a day to day basis. The hotel is a little far, given that the island is quite small it is not a big deal, but there is nothing around. Thankfully they provide bikes for free and it is only a 10min ride. The problem is that while during the day it is very pleasant, during the night it is a little tricky to get back as it is pitch black for hundreds of metres. The hotel […] has good facilities, the rooms were very nice, the bathrooms were new, clean and finally we got fresh water showers which is not common in the island. The beds were very large and comfortable. The swimmingpool was nice but almost empty, I think we were around 10 people in the hotel. However, that meant that there were nearly no services. There is no one to welcome at the pool, no one to give you towels, no one at the pool bar. It seemed quite dead if it wasnt for the awful noise of the builders at the other side of the pool. It seems as if the hotel is not finished and they are welcoming guests before it is ready. Breakfast was ok, but the restaurant in general was not very good. The food was terrible and the waiters have no clue about manners and servicing a 5 star hotel. The staff at the reception was nice and friendly, but not very well prepared. They tried to charge us 27€ for a cup we broke by accident, 27€!! Overall, it was worth it to have a nice shower and breathtaking views of the sunset, but I'm sure there are other places closer to the town that can offer that as well. Lisätietoja

Trots att hotellet låg avsides var helhetsupplevelsen mycket positiv. Fräscha rum och fint poolområde. Priserna på hotellets restaurang var dock för höga ansåg vi.

Superbe situation, coucher de soleil et petit déjeuner les pieds dans l'eau, Hôtel très agréable mais sans le charme balinais. Gros bémol pour la nourriture, à éviter.

Queen villa & spa er et flott hotell kompleks på den rolige delen av Gili Trawangan, god service og høy standard på rommene. Den noe bråkete og litt sure live musikken på kvelden er nok det eneste jeg kunne klart meg foruten, men vi fikk til gjengjeld spille vår egen musikk ved bassenget på dagen! Frokost på stranden og nydelig solnedgang. Hotellet […] ligger på den rolige delen av øya, men en liten heste taxi tur på 10 minutter eller en fin gåtur på stranden på 30-40 minutter og du er i sentrum. Kan anbefales! Lisätietoja
