Ocean Palm Motel - Sunny Isles Beach

The Hotel is very old, dirty and run down. I would never stay there again. I needed a one night stay due to airline cancelations and Ocean Palm was the only Hotel/Motel available. The location was the only positive thing about Ocean Palm.

We liked that hotel is located next to the beach.

This hotel is a classic owner operated hotel right on the strip just north of Haulover Beach! If you are looking for a place that is laid back then this hotel is for you. old, sketchy, not well maintained, actually it was quite horrible

When I arrived at Ocean Palm Motel, the first thing I noticed was the tiny parking lot that was almost impossible to maneuver my vehicle. I waited for 5 minutes, standing directly in front of the hotel manager, who did not ask if I needed help until my boyfriend walked in. He proceeded to tell me it was $20 cash deposit until I returned the key but […] when I told him I did not have any cash on me, he said not to worry about it. The room itself was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The sheets were the most uncomfortable sheets I have ever felt and did not even fit the bed and kept coming off the mattress. The bathroom door was broken and would not shut all the way. There was no bathtub and the shower floor was extremely slippery. The fridge was broken and the TV was an old school 28". The air conditioner cover fell off in the middle of the night, waking up my son and a man who was employed by this motel banged on our door at 1130 pm to tell my boyfriend that he needed to back the car in a couple more feet. Disgusting. Very disappointed.

When you stay at a Motel (with an M) there are certain expectations that need to be lowered, however cleanliness, comfort and convenience should not be sacrificed on account of being a budget accommodation... While the staff at The Ocean Palm were cordial enough, the rooms were well below standard (even for a Motel with and M)... There were stains on […] the blankets, mold in the air conditioning vents, and as if that were not enough, during my brief stay I saw two huge roaches in the bathroom... To further aggravate the situation, while the Motel had wifi, it was virtually impossible to connect in the room itself... I found myself spending a lot of time in the parking lot trying to get a signal... Whatever price you get for this place, no matter how low, its a rip-off... By staying at The Ocean Palm you ARE NOT saving money, you are instead sacrificing cleanliness and comfort... TAKE YOUR MONEY TO JUST ABOUT ANY OTHER BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN THE AREA! Lisätietoja

great location and great water pressure are the only positives. My room was about 9' x 9' and the TV as a 16". but did it tell you about the location and the water pressure? Manager was nice too but I think it is far too expensive for what you get.

The motel is a joke! Disgusting! Nasty area. When we went to check in there were 3 men looking like they were up to no good! My next door. Neighbor LIVES there n was kindly drinking beer outside. The hotel is old. It sits in the shadow of the huge Trump Towers. Cute, locally owned and on the endangered list. They are maintaining until they are bought out by giant corporate America. Sad. Our room was clean, except behind the mini-fridge. It is small, but the beds were fairly comfortable and the A/C was noisy but cold. The pool was clean and comfortable but in the shade most of the day due to neighboring monstrosities they call hotels which even shade the beaches half the day. Brilliant idea. STAY here if you want an inexpensive, cute place on the beach within walking distance to Haulover Beach and don't think Donald Trump deserves to be any richer. If coffee and toast is all you really need in the morning for the continental breakfast you're good. If you can back a car up in small spaces, the free parking is fine. DON'T stay here if you are going to complain that they still keep a reservation BOOK, not computers, that you are upset you have to carry around an actual key not a key card, if small scratches and dings in the furniture and trim will make you rate this a "1" or if everything is not brand new you lose your temper and complain to the front desk. we stayed for 4 nights , all was good , location was great on the beach .will stay there again, price was also ok

Its good location and good helpfull staff but the Motel is completely run down...Isolation is zero...the whole noise of Collins Avenue is in the room...The tiles of the bathroom and the 1sqm kitchenette corner and its equipment is rotten...

If you rather to pay less and do not care about nice place to stay and have a good service that is right place for you.

Great location and just on the beach. Had a small clean swimming pool. Beach access is the best thing that we liked. 24 hour of free coffee is also a great plus. Small room. Old beds. Small bath room with shower stall only. Parking is tight. Taking your car out could be tricky. No Internet access inside the second floor room as the base station is […] in the first floor. Todo bien, la amabilidad de la mucama y uno de los dos conserjes excelente. Me pareció excesivo el precio por la comodidad que hay en la habitación. A favor es que el internet es gratis , la ubicación y que está al lado de la playa.

el dormitorio para 4 personas es chico no hay espacio ,.El lugar del desayuno solo tiene 2 mesas para todo el motel y el desayuno continental es un desastre debe mejorar rotundamente . La ubicacion es buena y lo salva que esta frente a la playa. No volveria a este motel ni lo recomiendo. gracias

Las camas no son comodas, el desayuno es malo, y tiene problemas de estacionamiento

El ocean palm motel si bien esta muy bien ubicado y la atencion es correcta, no es mas que para pasar una sola noche. Por la noche las luces no dejan dormir

Hotellet är lite skabbigt, slitet och lyhört. Men det som väger upp det hela är otroligt trevlig personal i receptionen och närheten till stranden.

No recomiendo para nada este motel dado el pesimo estado de su infraestructura, sus instalaciones en general estan muy deterioradas, el baño y la ducha son totalmente anticuados (años 70) y la limpieza es pesima; no limpiaron los baños ni ducha ni una sola vez en los 3 dias que estuve. La piscina esta en un deterioro total y no es atractiva para disfrutar. El […] "desayuno" que ofrecen es un muffin con una taza de cafe y no hay mesa para sentarse..... Por el mismo precio se puede conseguir un hotel en el mismo sector con verdaderas comodidades. No entiendo como una pagina web ingresa un motel de estas caracteristicas a su base de datos.... Perfectamente ubicado sobre la playa, y en una destacada ubicacion del norte de Miami, altamente recomendable....excelente atencion y perfecta vista del anochecer en la playa :)
