All you really want from a hotel where you're probably doing a layover is the guarantee that it is close to the airport (this is about 10 minutes drive) and the ability to get between the two. On arrival at the hotel (admittedly in the early hours of the morning) we needed change to pay the taxi driver. The man on the front desk did not have any and, […] unbelievably, couldn't speak Thai so couldn't help explain this to the driver. We were only helped out by a fellow guest. The room was fine as a place to rest your head, though very warm as the airconditioning wasn't on and took a while to get going. We had asked for a taxi at 5.45am, to be told that they can only be booked on the hour or half hour. So we plumped for 5.30am and on arriving at the front desk at 5.35am we were told that the taxi had been taken by someone else checking out. It seems that if you book a taxi, you shouldn't take this as a guarantee you will have one - the front desk staff will let whoever is there take it, even though it was they who asked us if we needed to book one. Apparently they can only be booked at half hour intervals as well (i.e. 5.30am or 6am), not ideal if you are trying to snatch as much sleep as possible. In the end the hotel did have a mini bus and drove us and some other guests to the airport themselves, but only after we complained loudly about the potential for missing our flight. Hard to find even for locals. Double charged me for one night and couldn't get that I had already paid.

Only needed to stay here one night since we were traveling the next day. The location is not that convenient. It was hard for the taxi driver to find. The hotel is nice and clean. It's very loud too. You constantly hear people moving around in the hallways and the walls are thin. We didn't sleep well there. The breakfast was nice and the view from their […] restaurant was decent. Overall a good choice if you need to stay close to the airport for a relatively low price.

For the past few years while transiting through Bangkok I have stayed at the airport Novotel, but decided to look for a less expensive option this year. I'm very happy I stayed here and will definitely come back. It's a great value. The staff is friendly and met my flight right on time to take me back to the hotel, the room was comfortable, the restaurant […] food was good with optional outdoor seating (nice for having a Singha in the evening). The only issues, minor for me, were that the credit card swiper at the front desk was not working both times I stayed here (so I paid my small restaurant bill in cash) and I could hear the tv a little in the room next door. Hôtel sympatique une piscine. Quelques petits restaurants dans les environs. Idéal pour une nuit en transit, mais pas pour des vacances.

Et lite og hyggelig hotel. Beliggenheten er kanskje ikke den beste, men det merker man egentlig ikke så mye til. Hotellet ligger rett ved flyplassen og passer fint som et mellomstopp dersom man skal rekke et tidlig fly. Det tar ca 40 minutter med taxi inn til sentrum og 10 minutter til flyplassen. Normalt er Thailenderne svært hyggelige, så også på […] dette hotellet, dog ikke en dame i resepsjonen som neglisjerte vårt ønske om taxi. En våken piccolo bisto derimot med å skaffe en Taxi som hadde engelsk talende sjåfør og som kjørte oss rundt til de riktige stedene. Det gjorde en stor forskjell. För att vara flygplatshotell så var det extremt krångligt att ta sig dit. Fanns ingen shutte-service från flygplatsen som gick regelbundet så vi fick ta taxi. Taxi hade flera gånger väldigt svårt att hitta hotellet. Vi hade bokat ett rum för att kunna vila ut mellan två flighter och skulle checka ut redan kl 22:30. När vi kom dit kl 12:30 så fick vi […] inte checka in. Först skulle rummen städas och det skulle ta 30 min. Efter en timmes väntande anklade de oss för att inte betalt bokningen. De vägrade acceptera bokningsbekräftelsen från hotels.com. Ytterliggare en timme passerade utan att vi fick rum och tillslut lämnade vi in väskorna för förvaring och åkte tillbaka till flygplatsen för att ta oss in till stan. Shuttlen till flygplatsen är inte gratis och måste bokas. När vi anlände 20:00 på kvällen fanns ett rum klart åt oss - på rökvåningen. Vi har två småbarn och hade begärt icke-röknings rum... Mycket struligt hotell som absolut inte kan rekommenderas just p.g.a. strulet och att taxichaufförer inte hittar dit (trots adress och vägbeskrivning). Lisätietoja
