Matka kaupunkiin sujui oikeastaan aika kätevästi: Hotellin bussilla rautatieasemalle ja siitä junalla Zürichin päärautatieasemalle. Zürich-kortti on kätevä, niin ei tarvitse joka kerta ostaa junalippua ja lippu muihin julkisiin kulkuvälineisiin. Aamiainen ihan hyvä. Executive lounge samoin. Hotellin ympäristössä on viljelyseutua, pieni kylä, metsäpolkuja. Seuraavalla kerralla ehkä lainaan hotellista polkupyörän ja lähden vähän pidemmälle.

Situated in the heart of Zurich, Alexander Guesthouse is close to Zurich Zoological Museum, Swiss National Museum, and Fraumunster. Also nearby are Bahnhofstrasse and Zurich Zoological Garden.
Property Features.
Dining options at the guesthouse include a restaurant. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply) and an Internet point is located on site. Guest parking is available for a surcharge. The staff can arrange tour/ticket assistance and tour assistance. Hotelli sijaitsee aivan keskustassa viehättävässä ympäristössä. Ainoa asia, mikä tilapäisesi vähän häiritsee on se, että aamiainen tarjoiltiin rakennuksessa, jossa on meneillään iso remontti, mutta itse aamiainen oli todella hyvä. Excellent and personable service, superbly clean, quiet, and strategically located to access transportation and sites.

The hotel has just been refurnished. Everything was new and in very good condition. The hotel also provided free wifi with very advanced system in generating username and password. The hotel staff were also very friendly with very good English.

The guesthouse is another building with one street from the hotel. Clean but surrounding areas are lots of night clubs and stripe bars.
"Nice place with interesting smell"
The service is very nice but the price is not correlated to the room quality. It is more like a sterile room of a prison than a hotel room (guest house). And it smells awfully because the Raclette house is in the same building and if you open the window the smell of cheese is very very intense!
"More than we expected"
The location was great for us and with a price way lower than most other hotels we checked I must confess that we didn't expect very much. However the room was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. They even gave us breakfast though it wasn't included in the original price, probably because the large hotel they have were undergoing renovations […] and even though that didn't bother us at all I think they felt the need to compensate a bit. Хотел бы отметить, что номера во втором корпусе - маленькие клетушки, но при этом достаточно дорогие... Ценовая категория отеля не соответствует качеству номеров... Ремонт в отеле видимо давно не был...

Haustuer ist zu laut.Lärm einer evtl.Klimaanlage unter unserem Zimmer.Die Heizung war die ganzen Tage verschmutzt.
