Good choice for low budget. Room: We had a little problems with our room key but we used to it. Our room was clean and balcony (with street view) was a nice surprise. There were also a minibar. Soundproofing could have been better, you can hear weird sounds that happen around you. Our room was also for some reason quite cold. Staff: Hotel staff was […] OK and helpfull. Breakfast: Breakfast was average. Doesn't include anything special but you can get your stomach full. Location: Location was excellent. Good public transportation connections, metro station is just 20m from the hotel and tram stop about 100m. Nearby is also a supermarket and a fair-priced restaurant downstairs. Hotelli on suhteellisen siisti ja yleisilme on hyvä. Hotellin sijainti on loistava sillä metro on ihan hotellin ulkopuolella ja keskustaan kävelee 10-20min. Vieressä on useita halpoja ja hyviä ruokapaikkoja. Siivoojat eivät vaihtaneet lakanoita vaikka oveen laittoi kyltin "siivotkaa huoneemme. Kiitos!" vaan nukuimme viikon samoissa lakanoissa (sinänsä […] ihan sama, mutta kuitenkin). Vaikka kaupunki muuten on hiljainen yöllä niin ilmeisesti kaikki tulevat huutamaan hotellin ulkopuolelle yöllä, välillä menoa voisi sanoa jopa eläimelliseksi. Huone oli perussiisti, mutta ääni- ja ilmaeristys ei ollut hyvä. Äänet toisista huoneista kuuluivat selvästi, varsinkin oven kautta jossa ei ollut mitään vaimennusta. Tupakansavu imeytyi välillä huoneeseen. Aamupala oli erinomainen, tuoretta leipää, kasviksia ja leikkeleitä. Hintaansa nähden erinomainen hotelli vaikka meluisuus häiritsikin hieman. Hotelli sijaitsi aivan metroaseman kupeessa, Vaikka ikkuna oli aseman suuntaan, ei siitä aiheutunut häiriötä. Keskustan nähtävyydet olivat kätevästi parin metropysäkin päässä, tosin lyhyehkön matkan voi vaikka kävellä. Ystävällistä palvelua niin vastaanotossa kuin aamiaisellakin. Aamiainen erittäin hyvä: jokaiselle jotakin. Vastaanotossa tietokone, karttoja ja esitteitä. Kiva sijainti rauhallisella alueella, pienen kadun varrella, noin 30 askeleen päässä metrosta (parin pysäkin päässä vanhasta kaupungista). Hotel located right in front of subway station and trolley station is just up the street. There are very nice restaurants within a city block. I found the hotel clean, secure, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and lots of hot water for my daily shower! We stayed in a family room which was clean and big enough for 5 persons. The bathroom and the toilet were outside our room and shared with another room. However, nobody stayed in the next room, so we did not feel any inconvenience using the bathroom and the toilet. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and some spoke very fluent english which was great. So easy to find from the train station - just a few stops on the metro line and youre right on the hotel doorstep. Breakfast buffet blew our minds! Very good rates too

It's a good place to stay. Breakfast is just great, long serving time and lots of choices. Great location also, the metro is just within a few SECONDS walk. For the price, this hotel gets the job done. Internet was slow and the shower temperature was difficult to regulate. If your plan is to mostly explore the city and have a bed to sleep in, this hotel would be fine, however, if you are planning on spending long durations of time in the room, I would look elsewhere! I stayed at the Charles Central Hotel from Nov 3rd 2012 to Nov 11th 2012 on a vacation trip to Prague.The front desk was exelent, helpful , proactive and polite. The rooms were larger than I expected and the location was excellent. Definitely a great value for the room, free breakfast and location. Arrived at the hotel only to find that they had overbooked and had no rooms for us, 2 hours of arguing later with a member of staff that did not care, led to us having to stay at a hotel miles from the city centre. I stayed at the Charles Central Hotel from Aug 27-29, 2012 on a business trip to Prague. Having previously lived in the city, I wanted to be in Karlin, and close to a Metro stop. The Krizikova Metro is only a few steps from the front entrance of the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful when called upon, though not overly proactive. The hotel was a little outdated and looking tired but it was in a good location,right next to a tube station.(metro) Beds were comfy but cleaning of rooms were basic and furniture basic also. Immediately outside the metro station and next to a tram stop, despite this hotel being outside the old town it is very quick and easy access to it. Cheap and cheerful, some staff were great others not so much. Place was clean, room was very large. If you are looking for a budget hotel, it'll pass.

Besides having unexpected excellent hot breakfast, including eggs and sausage, I would say it is just a very so so hotel. Some of the lights didn't work, staff was not very friendly (although not impolite), and facilities were old. The worst is that no morning call reached the room even the staff on the night before made promise to do it. The staff […] said that it was because the telephone didn't work. Vi blev indlogeret på et andet hotel end det vi havde bestilt, men det lå rundt om hjørnet og var 4-stjernet. Alt i alt et fint hotel med gode faciliteter.

Velfungerende hotel med god service fra personalet. Dog ingen luksus. Flere gode spisesteder i kvarteret, og hotellet ligger super centralt i forhold til metro - to stop og man står midt i det historiske Prag.
