Quiet and Clean, couldn't ask for better for the price

The hotel parking was incovenient and inaccessible. My partner and I drive a large truck and were unable to find parking that would accomodate a vehicle of its size. The only parking that was unavailable was in the alley. Considering the neighbourhood it would have been unwise to leave the truck parked there for the night. The lobby was very small and basic, but the hotel staff were knowledgable & courteous. The neighborhood was a little less than ideal... looked perhaps like this new hotel was plopped down in "the hood" and it was quite far from everything else we were doing in the city. The hotel was very clean and the continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious. […] The room was gorgeous and very up to date... no budget hotel-like atmosphere here: marble countertops in bathroom, luxurious color sceme, beautiful furniture, comfy king-size bed, flat screen TV, table & seating area, nice carpeting and interesting paintings on the wall. We were not impressed with our stay at the Super 8 West in Saskatoon. We had to have our sheets changed the first night we were there because they were dirty/stained and the extra pillows had hair on them. We even noticed later that the new sheets were also stained. The continental breakfast the next morning was disappointing - cold cereal or toast […] - and by the time we got there the milk was warm from being left out on the counter. Some of the bath towels were frayed. We were also not impressed when housekeeping showed up around 4:30pm to clean our room, while we were getting ready to go to an event. The hotel is located in more of a rundown part of town. Its inconvenient to access if you are heading west because you either have to turn early and cut down the alley or you have to drive past the hotel a couple of blocks and turn around. The actual room was decent,and the heating system worked well. The staff were good at responding to our concerns except for the management. I think that some people give negative reviews to scare others away from hotels that they want to stay at in the future (boosting their odds of getting another room for themselves). I believe that is the case with anyone saying anything negative about this hotel. I would highly recommend it, even as a traveller that has stayed at some of the best establishments […] in North America. Hats off, Super 8. Lisätietoja

Rooms overlooking the road are noisy. Had to get both keys changed because they wouldn't open the door. Comfortable beds and nice linens. Good restaurant next door. Under cover parking (but tight if you have a van or truck). Day reception staff are excellent but one night person was too busy playing computer games and watching a movie to even say good […] evening. Although the hotel was nice and clean, the staff are very rude and un-professional. I was there for work and when I got back one night at 9:00pm my door lock was broken and I couldn't get in to get my stuff. It took them till 1am to get it open. Once it was open they told me I could stay in there since the dead bolt was working even though the key card […] lock still didn't work. The next day when I went to work my stuff was still in the room with the door unlocked and they did not offer to keep my stuff at the coutner or give me a new room. When i asked for a new room they said they offered me a new room and I refused (because I wanted to wait for my suitcase the night before because I didn't want to sleep in my work clothes). The hotel had what I had hoped for - friendly staff, a free outdoor parking spot with a plug in, free internet and a free continental breakfast. The room was large and clean.

We would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly , courteous and helpful. Our room was a nice size. It was very quiet and comfortable. The only complaint would be that we couldn't pull the curtains closed all the way so the room was too bright. Definitely a good deal for a reasonable price.

Poor room maintenance , No coffee or tea upon arrival to my room. i had to clean my own coffe pot as housekeeping failed to do so!!!! Poor room lighting poor receptacle placement poor workspace for my computor i had to unplug the coffee pot, or the micro wave, or the floor lamp in order to get power for my laptop i also had to squeeze my computor on […] the same table as the microwave and coffee pot and phone. no cover on the shower drain, not enough waste baskets for the size of the room. I found the general arrangement of the room to be poorly laid out. Continental breakfast ?? in a closet like room in the basement was not really worth the visit. Motel was great, neighbourhood a bit rough, The managemant should get a new bakery; the breakfast bread and muffins were well past their sell by date.

We stayed in super 8saskatoon very satisfied only one thing though there needs to be system of having more bread milk and coffee available for the amount of guests in hotel. We had to ask for these as they had run out by 7-30 but we would. Certainly stay again. And the staff were very helpful

clean hotel, nice stuff

Exceptionally small room, poor neighborhood and on busy street which was very evident by the street noise starting at 6AM! Breakfast was included, but very basic - fruit! 2 kinds of cold cerial and toast. Will NOT be back!

We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of the bed. We were inconvenienced by having to have our card access uploaded x3 during our stay. The continental breakfast is not a selling feature. The neighbourhood is rough, we had our windshield spat on as we were leaving the hotel.

I booked a room on hotels.com for 2 adults and 2 children (2 years & 2 month). I got a very small room. I asked the receptionist " How can 4 people stay in that room? " They replied "That is what we got for your reservation". They offered me extra bed for my children. The room is too small to open the extra bed. The next day they changed the room with […] a little bigger room. When we open the extra bed, there is no space to walk to the bathroom. I recommend this hotel for short stay and for singles. This hotel is nice and clean.Close to city center.

The reservation was incorrect. It should have been for 1 room 2 beds no smoking. It was 1 room 1 bed.The rate was miss quoted as well as the distance to the event I was competing in .Had to rent an extra room to get another bed. Not good.
