The location of the hotel was great, it was situated in a quiet street in the Old Town, so no street noise bothered us. Hotel and breakfast restaurant staff were very friendly and the atmosphere of the hotel was lovely. The room, however, was quite small and packed with unnecessary furniture and the bathroom had issues with removing humidity.

Hotel has a green program. Very environment friendly, family own, serving local products. I can recommend this for all travellers. You can minimize carbon load of your traveling using this hotel. I appreciate the values of this hotel. Hotel was clean and nice. I could not wish more for three star hotel. Service was good, and location is excellent. Walking distance to anywhere in downtown or old town. Breakfast was included. It was local products, when possible. For my taste, it was slightly small and did not contain enough fibres or protein. I got croissant and chocolate pastry, yoghurt/fruits, marmalade and juice. Coffee and tea are available in the room. It served in the room, too. Easy.

"Hotel Bernieres near Quebec City is a great choice"
Once again, TripAdvisor.ca and Hotels.com paired up to get us a gem of a hotel. We were driving from Toronto to Fredericton and wanted a spot somewhere around Quebec City to break up the drive. Hotel Bernieres popped up so we booked it. This is a combination motel/hotel (the hotel is a 2-story section so not really much more than a big motel, really). […] Our room was clean, large and comfortable with fridge and microwave. We were on the 2nd floor facing the back which was looking into someone's backyard. The hotel is about 1min from Exit-311 from the Trans-Canada highway and there's a Tim Horton's nearby for starting the second segment of the trip. The hotel boasts a restaurant where the food was very good (we didn't try anything too fancy - except, of course, poutine since we were in Quebec). There are cheaper places and there are fancier places but this was exactly what we wanted and far better than we had reason to expect. So we booked a stay for the return trip and requested the same room (which they held for us). The weather convinced us not to bother going into Quebec City itself but it couldn't have been more than 10min drive to Vieux Quebec and I'd stay here the next time I'm in that area. Lisätietoja
