Ye Olde English Inn - Hollister

The Ye Olde English Inn in Hollister, MO is a wonderful place to stay! Beautifully remodeled historic inn. We so enjoyed our stay and will be returning! Also will recommend to family and friends. The Room: Now, let me start of by saying that Ye Old English Inn wasn't bad. But the room was European in that it was very small. No more room than you needed. A bed, and a bathroom. The flat screen was a nice touch and let me tell you its a good thing it was flat because there was no room for anything else. The bed was comfortable at first but I tossed […] and turned all night long trying to get asleep and woke up several times. Also there are no climate controls in the room. You have to go downstairs and ask the front desk to adjust, which apparently also controls every other room too. The Breakfast: The breakfast was small. But it was also cooked to order. I had the scrambled eggs which seemed to be a little runny and they didn't have any fruit at all. The bar: Actually I kind of like the bar. There wasn't much to it but it had a cozy feel to it. The bartender had to look up how to make several of the drinks I wanted that I thought were fairly common ones, but thats ok. Everyone has got to start somewhere. The location: Now, it wasn't really all that hard to get to once you figured out that the road leading up to the hotel actually brings you to the rear of the hotel instead of the front. You kind of have to take a side ride to get to the strip where the hotel is. No big deal at all, though. Its was probably a 5 minute trip to the landing in Branson, which was nice. All in all if you're looking for a small room to spend 1 night, I'd stay again. But if you're looking for a little get away with the wife or the husband I'd keep looking. Lisätietoja

If visiting family/friends this is the place to be to unwind before you go to bed and to start your morning off. You can sit in the open area and have a drink or go to the bar for a night cap. Breakfast was excellent. Everyone is very friendly. I would stay here again.

A nice, very well kept historic place to stay. Wing rooms are smaller than i'd imagined, but there was plenty of room for a nice big comfy bed- which was all I needed anyway. I was able to connect my notebook to the flatscreen tv on the wall in my room to watch my netflix but they did have a bunch of cable channels. Staff there went out of their way […] to make sure I had everything I needed, and even made sure i had hot coffee in the evening. Breakfast that came with the room was prepared to order and delicious, not sitting out all morning because I like to eat late. Overall, an excellent warm an cozy place to stay (romantic) and i'll stay there next time unless we decide to bring our dogs. Lisätietoja

We were pleased with our stay at Ye Olde English Inn. It had an antique~feeling atmosphere. The room was quite a bit smaller than a "normal hotel room" and took us a little bit by surprise at first. But the room was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy. Staff was friendly and they actually stay there onsite if situations arise. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Close to Branson. Would stay again.
