This is as British as it can get. A Victorian low-rise red brick building with a Carvery restaurant serving Sunday roast... The restaurant is apparently very popular with the locals. So, traditional and old style, but also friendly, and cosy. You'll have to walk a bit to get to Canterbury city centre however, unless you are by car.

It was absolutely the delightful place to stay with good and friendly service. Spacy rooms. Fine location. It is a pity we could stay only one night.

Dining takes place in a custom-made green oak Kentsh barn with fantastic views over the unspolit kent Countryside. On a fine day enjoy breakfast "al fresco" on the terrace or a glass of wine with your meal watching the geese fly into the nearby pond. All the food is lovingly prepared in our state of the art kitchen using only the finest seasonal ingredients .

a delightful hotel in wonderful surroundings. it's a little off the beaten track but quite easy to find. Ideally its a perfect weekend retreat . The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and I felt very welcome. I will definitely be returning it is a real gem of a place

A little gem. After a long drive we were tired so the warm welcome was much appreciated. Our room was luxurious and we had all our comforts. The breakfast and service was excellent and we decided to stay for dinner in the barn conversion restaurant - a very wise choice and we had a great evening for my "special" birthday. "Peace, quiet and a wonderful welcome"
Despite looking like you need a satnav or wonderful navigational skills to find the place, it's actually simple to get to. Once there, the setting is delightful, the buildings beautiful and the owners and staff all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was beautifully clean and extremely comfortable, it goes without saying that the same level of […] cleanliness and quality of fittings also applied to the bathroom. And the food..? Oh boy!!! Superb... No other way of describing it. Locally-sourced ingredients cooked to perfection and served in very generous quantity. All in all, a smashing place that we'll definitely be revisiting.
