If you are to see the historical Charleston, this is your hotel. Location as well as the hotel itself is superb. Middle of the historical district, historical museum just 200 meters away... free shutle busses leave just in front of the hotel.. visitors centre 150 meters away..

The Society Housen 9 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on pesukoneet/kuivausrummut ja kahvin-/teenkeitin. Vierashuoneissa on seuraavia näköalavaihtoehtoja: kaupunki. 42-tuumainen taulutelevisio, joissa on parhaat satelliittikanavat ja DVD-soitin, ovat saatavissa. Vieraat voivat käyttää huoneessa ilmaista nopeaa langallista Internet-yhteyttä. Huoneet ovat yksilöllisesti sisustettu ja kalustettu ja niissä on queen-koko sohva ja työpöydät. A fabulous place with one- and only one- exception: the sofa bed was horrible. We ended up sleeping on the floor!! We're tough cookies, but the mattress- if it can be called that- is a thin piece of foam that does not mask the springs and wires beneath it. "Walk to Everything"
The condo was beautiful, if a bit noisy. We stayed in #301, above busy King Street. But you can't beat the location--we walked to all the famous sights/restaurants. Well- appointed unit with lots of comfortable living space. If you have trouble with stairs, this may not be the place for you.
"Society House Condo Stay"
Society House is a converted downtown storefront building with 9 apt/condos on the upstairs floors 2-4. There is no front desk or staff, and no elevator. After you book you will be e-mailed your Lock-box code 4 days in advance. Upon arrival you stop your car/taxi on busy downtown King St. and off-load your luggage and/or family. You punch your code […] into the boxes by the front door mailboxes for your condo key. This unlocks the street door and your upstairs door. The unit will be a very nicely appointed apt. above the busy stores and street. This is an URBAN lodging. Overall it is a great stay. However, If you need assistance, an elevator, ammenities, and hotel quiet, choose a standard hotel. If you want space, privacy, and a stay similiar to a city relative's apt. without the relatives, this is you! Lisätietoja
"Society House in Charleston, South Carolina"
This was a one bedroom condo right in the middle of the clothing/housewares shopping district on King Street and a block away from College of Charleston. There were three of us in our group and we truly felt like locals. We walked to and from Harris Teeter with a groceries so that we could have breakfast each morning, a few dinners and lunches and snacks […] whenever we wanted. The trolley in Charleston is now free to riders and the condo is a very short distance from a trolley stop so we used this method of transportation a lot. It was easy to walk to points of interest as well. There was also a parking garage one street over and we had a car rented for the weekend so that we could go see the plantations and so parking the car was very easy. It is close to a lot of restaurants as well which had excellent food or you can catch the trolley to go to other restaurants near the Market. All in all it was the perfect place to stay for our week in Charleston. Lisätietoja

"Nice Condo rental on King St."
The Society House was an excellent find. Though they have no front desk or room service, with so many excellent restaurants nearby, there is no need. The 2 bedroom condo was clean, had everything I needed, and the roominess was beyond my expectations. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on my next visit to Charleston.
