Salita Hotel - Phnom Penh

Good hotel. The location was not great but as transpotaion is so cheap this is not really a problem. There was always a pleasant tuktuk driver waiting outside.

Very near to tourist visiting spots. They are a good group of staff and management always ready to help. Good value breakfast compared to many others. The owners, Mr & Mrs Heng always there to give an extra hand. IT department helped me with my computer problems at no cost. Security is very good even though there is no need for . A new and modern hotel a littlebit away from the city centre. Beautiful breakfast room in the top floor with superb view of the city.

ALL WAS JUST FINE AND ROOM WAS GOOD WHERE WE HAVE STAYED. IT WAS CLEAN AND ALSO SERVICE AT COUNTER WAS GREAT AS WELL. RECEPTION SERVICE WAS GOOD AND NICE WORKERS THERE IN THE HOTEL , VERY COOPERATIVE. MR DORN, WAS GREAT IN HIS SERVICE AS A FRONT DESK OFFICER. MOST RECCOMMENDED.

Perfect hotel for a trip to phnom penh. The staff were extremely helpful and organised everything from tours, drivers and tickets to our next destination. Very clean,spacious rooms and excellent facilities

We chose this hotel on a whim, but we were pleasantly surprised. They upgraded us without even asking. Also the buffet is quite satisfactory with an excellent view of the city. I couldn't see anything higher. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. My wife took our son out and saw a coconut dealer and after he cut the coconut recognized that she didn;t […] have any money. The base of the bathtub leaks. Overall great stay. Nice restaurant on top floor with view. Very friendly service and hospitality.

A little bit away from the river front etc but a very comfortable hotel which was good value for money with helpful staff. Kuon, our tuk tuk driver outside the hotel was awesome!

Indeed, this hotel is away from the tourist concentration and if you do not mind the distance, then this hotel may be your alternative choice. For a single traveller, the room is decent, comfortable and new. The staff are friendly who will talk to you and ensure if you're alright. In terms of attractions, it is about 7 minutes walk (depending on your […] speed) to Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Olympic Stadium. If you're those who are adventurous, do explore the area where you meet the locals. Walking to the riverside and other attractions further away from the hotel is not entirely encouraged especially due to the heat unless you want to experience and observe phnom penh a little more. Ueber den Zustand des Hotels und der Zimmer kann man nicht meckern, das war alles in Ordnung und sehr sauber. Das Fruehstueck fanden wir nur ok, jedoch sehr aufmerksames Personal, dass gerne auch mal ein heisses Spiegelei nachbringt, wenn die anderen schon etwas erkaltet sind. Ausserdem ein grosser Plusspunkt fuer den Blick auf die Stadt vom Restaurant […] aus (9. Stock!). Sehenswuerdigkeiten sind nicht in unmittelbarer Naehe! Es stehen einem jedoch unzaehlige TukTuks zur Verfuegung, je nach Entfernung 2-3 Dollar. Einziger Knackpunkt: Hatten ein unschoenes Erlebnis mit der Rezeption. Wir wollten Bustickets nach Ho Chi Minh mit dem Mekong Express buchen. Man sagte uns an der Rezeption jedoch, dass er Bus, den wir nehmen wollten angeblich ausgebucht sei (nach telefonat), wir jedoch den Sapaco Bus nehmen koennten, der angeblich genauso gut waere. Erstens: dieses Busunternehmen war bei Weitem nicht so gut. Zweitens: man hatte uns angelogen, denn beim Mekong Express gab es sehr wohl noch freie Plaetze wie im Nachhinein durch uns herausgefunden, nur gab es hier fuer das Hotel vermutlich keine Provisoin. Drittens: Fuer die Buchung des schlechteren Busunternehmens wurden vom Hotel 4 Dollar extra berechnet ohne es zu erwaehnen. Grosser Punktabzug. Lisätietoja

It was a great stay at Salita Hotel and the staffs were extremely nice and helpful. I guess that was the highlight of our stay at Salita. They helped us to book all the bus tickets. I would definitely go back there again.
