Great place to stay if you have an early flight as it is only a couple of minutes walk, literally across the road from the terminal. Modern and comfortable. It was busy when we checked out so we went to the terminal and checked in for our flight then came back. No problem.

Literally just across the road from the international air terminal it is the perfect choice if you have an early flight. The hotel is modern and well appointed and staff are efficient and friendly.

My wife and I can only describe our short stay at the above hotel as a very pleasing experience and encompasses all the very highest of standards that one looks for in the hotel industry.

Excellent location within walking distance from International and domestic terminals, very good conditions and service, meals are good quality but typical hotel prive (high!) Othewise very positive and pleasing stay.

I'm hesitant to write too good a review, because I want to be sure there are rooms available next time I fly into Auckland. The hotel is literally steps away from the International terminal. We paid for a 1/2 day on the day of departure, and I was able to take a long shower and nap on a big bed 2 hours prior to a 13 hour flight (having checked bags […] and picked-up boarding passes earlier in the day). The rooms are modern and clean, the staff was very helpful, and you can eat at the hotel or walk 90 seconds to eat anywhere in the Airport terminal. We took several trips into Auckland, and the buses to the city all leave from in front of the hotel. And, despite having a runway 3/4 of a mile away, the rooms were quite quiet (and it was interesting to watch the planes land/take-off from the giant windows in the room. Perfect place to stay when flying out of Auckland early in the morning. We had a flight in from Queenstown the evening before our long haul flight to Tokyo early the next morning. Vey comfortable and convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Awesome place to stay the night. Straigh off the plane into the hotel with ease, even with 6 bags. The quality was excellent, food was great. The kiwi hospitality was also wonderful. Had a great night sleep and we'd definitley stay here again, without a doubt. Well worth paying a few extra dollars for the convenience.

the hotel is really close to the airport. It is very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There is no airport noise so a good nights sleep can be had before departure.I like the 11am checkout. My only gripe would be parking is an extra cost.

Stayed at this hotel the night before our early morning flight. The hotel is brand new so is in excellent condition with all furniture and fittings being brand new. The location is excellent if you are flying out from Auckland international as it is within metres of the terminal...not so if you are wanting to do things in the city (which we weren't). […] The price was a bit more expensive than other hotels near the airport but when you factor in not having to pay for transport to or from the airport it works out to be a real bargain. Liked: Location, ideal overnight stay for that early morning flight. Walk over and check in, then back to the hotel for breakfast. Modern room design with some smart touches. Disliked: Charge for parking, even for a very short time. Charge for Internet access - $ 15 minimum 2 hrs. Checking out, cashier insisted that the hotel's policy on Paying by […] credit card would add 1 1/2 per cent to the bill. After arguing vigorously that this was not befitting a hotel that wants to be world class, this demand was dropped. At breakfast in the restaurant, staff will not serve you a coffee or tea but will point out the machine that you are expected to use yourself. Very convenient location especially when you are travelling with family. No need to rush in and out of airport as it is just across from the terminal. Comfortable and clean room with wonderful breakfast.

Very convenient location - a minute from airport. Rooms comfortable, bedding and furnishing very inviting. Great choice for breakfast.

We are going to start every holiday the night before by staying at the Novotel Akl Airport! Everything was perfect! Location, service, quality of rooms (and they are sound proof) did not hear one aircraft and the restaurant left us speechless! The food quality, presentation, portion size not to mention the waiting service was all unbelievably perfect! […] Lucky us we are staying there again when we return from our holiday! If every tourist entered NZ via this hotel they will be delighted! I am proud to be a kiwi with this level of quality upon arrival & departure in NZs busiest airport! Very convenient for airport stopover between flights overnight- quiet and comfortable, well appointed.

An airport hotel of this quality and location for Auckland is long overdue and welcome. It's well presented and the staff are good. Two complaints: - you have to pay for Internet access. This is increasingly unacceptable. TV is not charged, so why Internet; - my king sized bed wasn't really a king sized bed - it was two single beds pushed together with […] a king sized sheet over it, with an uncomfortable ridge down the middle of the bed as a result. I found the Novotel to be an excellent choice for our overnight stay. It is a 'zebra crossing' away from the Auckland International Airport which means no transfers to worry about and more sleep in time before flights. The room was so quiet, we didn't hear any noise from planes, traffic or other rooms during our stay. The staff were very friendly and […] professional and the rooms were up to date and comfortable. Convenient location for early morning flights. Customer oriented. Made follow-up call on an early morning wake up call. Same person brought a luggage cart up at 4 am without us calling as we did not expect bellman service at this hour. Rooms are comtemporary euro style. Only improvement needed...free internet. Excellent location for early morning arrivals or early morning departures. Was great to be able to drop of luggage at airport then return to hotel for a welcome breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend a stay.

The room was extremely well laid out, very clean and quite comfortable. Decent restaurant and bar in hotel and very convenient location (just out the door of the international terminal).

Excellent hotel a short airport trolley push from terminal. No noise from aircraft great room bathroom and restaurant.

Perfect location if you are catching an early flight, wake up and go check in in! :) Really nice rooms and super quiet, no aircraft noise at all.

If you're flying, esp from the international terminal, the location literally could not be more convenient. Just across the walkway and you're there. There's also great public transport into the city from the doorstep of the hotel. I believe it was about $26 round trip into the city- the buses are clean and timely. A cab from the airport to downtown […] was $96, ridiculous. Take the bus.The internet at the hotel was about $20 USD for 24 hours, which is ridiculous considering how many hotels offer it complimentary. The hotel was very quiet for a hotel right next to the airport. Good sized gym with good equipment. I didn't like the bed, it wasn't very comfortable. It was a bit soft and warm, for me.

Great place to stay if you need to be at the airport first thing in the morning. Food was great Restaurant Service was the best I received in some time. Highly recommended

Directly opposite international terminal, so convenient for late arrival or early departure flights. Modern, streamlined rooms and feel to the hotel. Approx 45 minutes into Auckland by airport express bus.

We stayed 2 nights as Husband had an early flight north for a day and then next morning returned to Australia. Excellent hotel in every aspect. So close to international airport and a short walk to domestic. Restaurant & bar were great - food and service. Could eat at airport if there for a cuple of nights as we were. Shuttle service to Auckland city […] is very efficient though a little pricey at $16 each way - buy a return ticket at $26 saves a little. This hotel was very good, very nice and comfortable. I would highly rate this hotel. Quite expensive but worth it. Only disappointment was that you have to pay for internet access, and also very expensive to keep your room for a few hours after check out. My flight was not until 11pm and I was shocked when I seen the price.

Convienntly located and very well appointed hotel adjacent to Auckland International Airport. Kind friendly staff, very clean and tidy rooms and exceptionally quiet. A nice touch of Maori culture in reception area.

Literally a walk across the street to the hotel entrance. For late night arrivals, couldn't be better. Plus the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the rooms very nice.

The service was efficient and polite, the room was very attractive and the bed comfortable. They rang us on the dot of 5am as promised to wake us for our flight and the breakfast was simply outstanding. Can't fault it.

I rarely write reviews for anything online, but this hotel deserves an exception. I thought it was going to be close to the airport but I was still surprised at how close it was. There is a pedestrian crossing just outside the hotel entrance and then you are in the airport. But what I wanted to mention was how incredibly nice the girl who checked me […] in was. I wish I had mention her name as she deserves to be mentioned by name. When I got to the hotel I was pretty tired and hungover but she immediately cheered me up. POSITIVE: Easy walk from the Domestic, but great from the Auckland International Airport as right outside. The Hotel it self is brand new and all clean, up to date with the mod-cons in the room. DOWNSIDE: the Hotels dinning located in the lobby area. Only two of us and could not accommodate. Told there is room service available but you will be charge […] with a room service fee. My response was I have no choice then do I, and the girl smiled. Would have been great if this occurs to offer staying guest NO room service fee if the dinning area is fully book. Was not impressed as no other time was neither offered either, just I will see so the employee walked up and back and said NO, and informed only rooms service and it's fee as it was mentioned twice and then laughed about with another co-worker when we walked to the lift. The only option is room service with a fee per tray, as nearby the only food available is in the Airport itself or CountDown supermarket. All cafes were closed at this time in the early evening. RECOMMEND to book and see what the availability for downstairs dinning is on your arrival ESPECIALLY during peak travel periods. There was only two of us and this wasn't recommended when we checked in. However, we walked to a nearby 'Countdown' supermarket to get our drinks and snacks, so we could eat and not use the mini-bar. In the room ONLY INFORMATION available is the 'Room Service and Mini Bar menu'. No other information was available about other services provided such as transportation, telephone call services, and the Hotels amenities (Internet, business equipment, gym, swimming pool if there was??, luggage and pillow services as examples. Not like the other 6 Novotel Hotels I have experienced and stayed over the world, or Hotels located next to airports. Shame the service isn't being represented by the Hotels presentation. Lisätietoja
