Hanoi Boutique Hotel 1 - Hanoi

Great location, very nice designed rooms. However, in any hotel, boutique, 2 stars or 5 stars, minimum required is to be provided wt washed towels everyday. We stayed 2 nights and not even when we arrived we were given clean towels. Most rooms have no shower.. which is not announced. As a frequent traveller, i pay attention to room designations such […] as superior, deluxe, etc. I am willing to pay for extras, but feel defrauded when i pay more when have no idea if i am really getting the extras. Many people would choose not to complain as they are on holidays or have no idea of how proper hotels work.. . but i dont like being abused. Nice small hotel. Great breakfast, friendly people. Also try the massage. Free wifi working.

I booked a suite which was nice and spacious, but the big problem was the noise coming from the street (cars and motorbikes honk all the time) and the view straight into someone's flat. Breakfast was very basic. The streets outside the hotel are very narrow and very noisy at all times of the day and late into the night. The staff is very helpful and friendly, but the drainage in the toilet requires upgrading.

It's a small hotel but with lovely decoration and its cosy environment make us feel comfortable. However, during our stay, my friend has problem with locking the door of the room. Hotel staff spent a long time to fix it. Not so efficient and smart but they were very patient to address the problem. Overall, staff were impressive as they were all friendly, […] helpful and energetic. They helped me change the bed lamps as I didn't like the color of the lamp cover which was in unconformtable red. Best value for money hotel in Hanoi. We paid more at other hotels and received less.

We booked a Suite which was nice and spacious. It was clean and well appointed. The only problem with the Suite (we were given one on the 4th Floor) was the view, or the lack of it. We looked straight into the next building and into someone's unit. The bed was positioned right in front of a double floor to ceiling glass door which provided no privacy. […] We had to keep the block-out curtains closed at all time (day and night) in order to have some privacy. The daily breakfast was very basic and left a lot to be desired. The same food items were served in our entire five (5) days stay in the hotel. The only saving grace was the local coffee served in the restaurant for breakfast which was good. The streets outside the hotel are very narrow and noisy at all times of the day and late into the night. It is not possible to walk safely on the pavements, which were mostly blocked by parked motorbikes. One has to walk onto traffic and the local bike riders and vehicle drivers do not have any consideration for pedestrians. Safety wise, it was very bad. Hindsight, it would have been better to stay somewhere near the lake where the roads are wider and there were pavements to walk on rather than in the Old Quarter. Lisätietoja

Staff is friendly and tries hard, but some are more competent than others. If you need something or are waiting on something (like a package), FOLLOW UP. Do not rely on the hotel informing you. Also, check you bill carefully on check-out. The front desk clerk attempted to charge me for an extra day. I dont think she was trying to rip me off, just not […] overly competent and what she was doing. Wireless internet is free, but cuts out sometimes. Verdict? Muy bien ubicado, el personal muy amable, los cuartos muy limpios. Fuimos una noche y luego nos fuimos de crucero y volvimos a los dos días. Nos guardaron las valijas y fueron muy amables en todo momento. Al regresar nos asignaron un cuarto mucho mas espacioso, muy lindo!!!! Habitación 803. Excelente relación precio-calidad. MUY RECOMENDADO!!!!

très bien, bon rapport qualité prix, super petit déjeuner vietnamien, design intérieur sympa, situation idéale en plein coeur du centre. Seul bémol : l'acoustique des chambres assez mauvaise + la fenêtre de la chambre donnait sur un mur aveugle (aucune lumière naturelle)

Das Hotel liegt eine Querstrasse vom der Nachtmarktstrasse und einigen Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie den Hoa Kiem See, diversen alten Stadthäusern usw. entfernt. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber. Wichtig zu wissen ist, dass die Standard-Zimmer nur über sehr kleine Fenster verfügen. Hotellet i sig var väldigt fint, dock hade inte personalen riktigt hängt med i utvecklingen. Det mesta var krångligt för dom att lösa. Små men fína rum. AC:n var placerad dumt i rummet, blåste rakt ner i sängen. Frukosten var "nja" ena dagen ej färdig i tid , en annan var det helt utplockat. Finns bättre och mer prisvärda hotel i Hanoi.

This hotel is in the middle of the old quarter of Hanoi = good location. I have read others staying at other hotels, complain about noice from the traffic at night, but we did not hear the traffic at all. But the negative thing was that our room did not have a real window. The window lead to a ventilation shack. So you really missed the day light. But […] the room itself was really nice. Comfortable bed, quite big bathroom. only bad thing there were no curtains for the bathtub, so you had to shower sitting down, otherwise you would have wet the entire bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. But this was before we got tired of the hotel breakfast in Vietnam (if you dont eat Vietnamese breakfast). Always the same toast, baguettes (that has no real taste), butter with no salt, soft cheese, no real juice (som sweet stuff). But at least this hotel had yoghurt and musli and hot coffee and tea.
