We had tried to increase our stay and had emailed and the tourist office and previous hotel had also phoned, so very difficult to get hold of hotel. In the end we stay at another hotel. Service was efficient and friendly. Main complaint was buffet breakfast, everything was chaotic, poor layout of food, wait for food, having to search for cutlery and […] glasses. Too many corporate guests and the kitchen/waiting staff could not cope. Western bar was great and we ate there where the service was better. there are many hotels in the area and there was nothing in this one which inspired me to return. Quite relaxing but excuse the overcrowded swimming pool. Friendly staff, clean environment & spacious room. Ask for two access cards instead, coz you could maintain one in the wall-mounted slot-pocket whenever you're out of your room & still have your favorite drinks chilled in the concealed mini-refrigerator below the wash basin. We reserved a double room but was given a twin room and the check-in staff did not even bother to point it out to us during check-in. When we called to ask, the operator replied with "King beds are subject to availability unless if you upgrade". This is despite calling Hotels.com to confirm that the double room is with a King bed! The day bed in the […] room was covered with stained sheets! The towels provided were grey, stained and with holes. Not just that, the tap for the basin was loose and the toilet door could not be locked at that! Not just that, the knob came off! The floor area between the beds was stained as well. The hotel provide bicycle rentals but ONLY for use WITHIN the hotel premises! So unless if you are willing to take a really long walk, or you rent a car, you are pretty stuck in the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the nonya curry chicken taste good! Can't say the same for the vegetable platter though, it was bland and cold. Breakfast was not really fantastic, but ok. We had book for six rooms.And we had all our room upgraded with no extra charges.Comfortable and relaxing surrounding.Breakfast is ordinary but is good enough for what we have paid for the room.All 12 of us gave thumbs up for the hotel and will recommend it to our friends.

Stayed in Avillion for 1 night, and I can gladly say that I was satisfied with my stay. Views from the hotel rooms were stunning, and the staff were friendly. Hotel bar is a must go, as they have live music, which adds a bit of a personal element to it.

The lcoation and the facilites were good. Enough of outdoor space but no real beachfront. The TV in the room didn't work most times as the remote was not working and even after a replacement, they didnt change the batteries. This could have been improved. They should "air" the rooms so that the "musty" smell can be removed. I wouldn't recommend the […] SPA, which is located in a hotel room on lower level. Good overall, it is wonderful place for a short vacation during the weekend. The service was good, nice room layout and spacious, comfortable sofa. Nice swimming pool, great for kids.

Average hotel facilities/breakfast apart from the nice view on the marina. Rip off if you are a foreign tourist that is not driving around since hotel personell will only order their recommended taxi service and they will charge double price for getting you out (it's miles away from KL and from the airport). The hotel address is not specific either […] so getting there after darkness on a taxi is a real challenge as well. The hotel room was very clean & furnished with comfortable bed & furniture. Food could be upgraded with more varieties especially for the buffet dinner. The white sandy beach is beautiful, just that it is a little distance away from the hotel. Overall, it is wonderful place for a short vacation during the weekend.

Great hidden away hotel that is able to be abtained cheaply through the net. Room was fine with great views, even though we were told on check in that it only had partial views. Spent loads of time in the pool and the hotel has close accessl to a good sandy beach if you need one. We even did the impossible and walked back to the hotel from Port Dickson town, 95% of the way was along the beach even though it's a 10km trip. The only thing that I would complain about was the 5-8pm 50% discount happy hour in the bar room which they promote heavily. We had a very pleasant stay. The view was excellent. The service was very good. The facilities at the hotel were good.

I recommend a ton of hotels and this is easily the worst hotel I stayed at in Malaysia. Staff was not only rude (mostly, some were nice), but they provided a dirty, old and broken hotel with overall horrible service. The AC unit was broken, my shower didn't have hot water, the sheets were dirty, the towels were gray, they didn't clean my room the second […] day I was there, despite three phone calls to have them clean it. the hotel is comfort, big, and beautiful.. but what i want to say is, the cleanliness of room have to be upgraded some more. the glass table not be cleaned probably.. still can find some dirt on the bed sheet. overall, the hotel is quite good for me, the location is ok...

1) The direction to the hotel is not clear. 2) Overall experience is peasant, but not unusual as the room rates were slightly higher than neighbouring hotels. The usual basic services is there. 3) There is no private beach. 4) Breakfast spread is average.
