Knights Inn La Hacienda Alamo Dome - Riverwalk - San Antonio

Was very pleased with the room, was very Washed and up to date!!

The hotel was nice and clean overall but I booked a king bed and ended up with double full sized beds. The hotel was not walking distance 2 the riverwalk at all! I would not stay at this hotel again.

It is a good little hotel... people are very friendly and welcoming! There are no elevators, but there are only 2 floors, if you don't feel like going up the stairs request a room on the first floor. The only bad thing is that there is no parking enough for all the rooms, I'm lucky I own a small car and I could squeeze in a spot, but some other guests […] had to park on the street in front of the hotel. Everything was great. Its down the street from downtown, Alamo Dome, and the freeway to go other places. I thinks its San Antonio best kept secret. I didnt see any breakfast or a microwave. I know It was supposed to be included but everything including customer service was top notch.

The neighborhood looks a little sketchy, but we didn't have any problems. Would have liked a bit more fir their breakfast. They offered coffee and packaged muffins. Hotel itself is new and in awesome shape.

I feel like this hotel is a hidden gem. It is not located in the heart of Rivercenter but is a 15-20 min walk or 3 min cab ride. The hotel it self is very nice and the rooms are beautiful and upto date. The staff is exceptional! Very kind and generous.

Guest and room service was great... Hotel smelled clean... Good size rooms, security cameras for parking lot the only problem is they need more parking space, only has parking for about 12 cars. This hotel is in the middle of every thing... Love it!

This is one of the best hotel stays we've had in a long time! The location is good. It's on the main road that leads to the Riverwalk. We had our 6&7 year olds with is so we chose not to walk cause we didn't want them to tired to walk the Riverwalk and then back again. Pros: The hotel looks to be fairly new, the bed was super comfortable, the hotel is very close to downtown and the Riverwalk, the bathroom is very large, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed here because it was close to the start and finish line of the Marathon and the price was right. Fortunately, the reviews were right too. No fancy bells and whistles at this place but it's clean and well maintained (looks very new).

Excellent value. Owners are very hospitable and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Walking back from river walk at night is a little sketchy. If you do not have your own vehicle, I would suggest taking a cab after dark.

Quality of service was really good. The lady at the reception was very warm and nice. The only problem was that the location of the washbasin was outside of the restroom.

This is the best kept secret in Texas! It's a great stay especially if you are going in and out. Ir is conviently located near downtown and the Riverwalk.

The hotel was clean and modern with a flat screen tv. Near downtown near the Alamo. Will come here again for sure.

The hotel is comfortable and very nice and clean, but the breakfast is very poor, please improve that inmediatly.

Yes, it is less than a mile from heart of the city (the River Walk) but not in a neighborhood where you want to stay with your family. There is no elevator, so get ready to haul your luggage if you have a room on second floor. Room was clean but the AC unit was very loud. Keep in mind this is not a walking distance to the River Walk area.

I don't recommend anything to anybody

small hotel, only 19 rooms. If it had a pool and a good breakfast, it would be perfect. Short walk to the Riverwalk and the downtown attractions.

This hotel is about 3/4 of a mile from the convention center and Riverwalk. It costs 1/3 of the on site hotel rates. Great for convention goers without a big expense account. Also, you don't even need a car to get there if it's too hot to walk. The #25 bus stop is across the street. For a little more than a dollar you can be downtown in less than 10 […] minutes. San Antonio buses are comfortable, uncrowded, clean and air conditioned. The drivers dropped me off at the door at night on my way back. the hotel is clean, safe and quiet. When I showed up hot and dirty after hours in the air and many more in airports, they let me check in early. They have a soda pop refrigerator and a tray of snacks that are dispensed for a small fee on the honor system. Sweet! You can set your own temp on the thermostat. Nice. Free cello-wrapped pastry and coffee and fruit for breakfast, free wifi, lots of ice. Not much in the way of concierge-like services or advice. I don't think they anticipate health food freaks, either. The fruit was a bonus, but something for breakfast that wasn't made of white flour and sugar would have been terrific. The neighborhood isn't scenic, but it wasn't scary. There's no pool, but I was busy from 7:45 AM till late at night. I never have time to swim at conventions. Solid value. No frills. Lisätietoja

Lovely motel, practically brand new! Nothing wrong with the room itself. Great location, just a couple of blocks from the Riverwalk! No problems what-so-ever, and for the price you can't beat it! Would definitely recommend.

This hotel opened 8 months ago. Very quiet and clean. It is located very close to Downtown San Antonio, but not close enough to walk - especially in this heat - we chose to take our car. We had no problem with parking at this hotel. Make sure to know how to get back to the hotel because the street turns into a one-way once you get in to Downtown San […] Antonio. Nice clean room, WI FI was very slow but then I didn't go there for the WI FI so no big deal.

Friendly staff. Little bit of walk to Riverwalk, etc. New & airy. Only bad thing- there was blood on bedsheets, but i have yet to find a hotel/hostel in America that doesn't!

Small, quaint, and comfortable hotel; conveniently located near the River Walk. Room was clean and accommodating, but view from the window was unpleasant. (Unkempt neighborhood surrounds hotel), but everything else was on point. Definitely will stay here again.

This hotel is very centrally located!! It is not walking distance to the downtown area but very close. I liked that the rooms were very clean. The only disappointment was the parking space, it is very small and limited, the first day we had to park on the handicap area. We stayed at this motel for 1 night! We came in off I-10 up commerce. The drive up commerce street was a little worrisome. The surrounding area seemed run down. 1 block up past the motel was like total transformation with much nicer views. The motel itself was new and in great condition. Very quiet. Staff were nice and very helpful.

Simply... The Pros: it's close to the city centre, however - see below too. It's good quality for a 2 star hotel - the rooms have been recently renovated and are of a good quality and modern furnishings. The Cons: the car park holds 14 cars - which is less than the Humber of rooms. This wouldn't be a problem if the surrounding area wasn't so rough […] that you feel at risk leaving it on the street. It pretty much means that your car has to stay where you left it on the car park from 5pm onwards otherwise you risk loosing your spot. That in itself wouldn't be a problem if you were able to walk to the centre of San Antonio (which we felt very uncomfortable in doing due to the rough surrounding area) or you could get a taxi to take you the mere 1 mile to the Riverwalk (which our receptionist seemed unable to arrange) . In general - the hotel building is great - the staff are useless (when we asked where we could park they just shook their heads and also couldn't arrange a taxi) - the car parking is inadequate - although you're only a mile from the city centre it's unadvisable to walk due to the neighbourhood - the free Internet was reasonably quick - the inclusive breakfast didn't exist (they don't provide one - even though it's listed as having one). Basically - if you can afford closer to the city centre do so. If not, or if you're just looking for a one night stop over - this hotel is actually quite good for 2 star as long as you get onto the car park early enough. Lisätietoja

i think its been opened Recently , Hotel is small with just 19 rooms, rooms are clean recommended. breakfast is very small.

The hotel was close enough to walk to the riverwalk and alamo (which we happily did), however it requires walking through a pretty rundown neighborhood. If this bothers you, a taxi is only too easy and the hotel is worth the slight inconvenience. The room was warmly decorated with very comfortable beds. This is a great hotel! Everything was perfect--very clean and comfortable rooms, beds were great-neighborhood is up and coming. short distance to downtown. we loved it!

Took a short weekend trip to San Antonio with my husband to take him to the Alamo and the Riverwalk,. This was a very short walk to downtown, very comfortable and new/clean rooms, and everything was as expected.
