Olin nyt kolmatta kertaa samassa hotellissa. Paria seikkaa lukuun ottamatta olin erittäin tyytyväinen. Suurin harmi oli se, että bide-suihkua ei ollut, ja se suihkujärjestelmä, joka oli, toimi alkeellisesti. Säätö ei toiminut, vaan vettä tippui jokaisesta kolmesta kohdasta, vaikka miten olisi säätänyt. Veden tulo alkoi aina kylmällä vedellä, ja sitä siis tuli joka tuutista. No, kyllä tilanteen kanssa oppi pärjäämään. Toinen harmi oli se, että vaimoni yöpyku katosi liinavaatteiden mukana, ja takaisin sitä ei saatu.

Hotelli on kohtuullisen hintainen. Sijainti aivan metroaseman vieressä, josta pääsee manhattanille melko nopeasti. Aamiainen on ihan okei, tosin tilat on aika pienet, joten oli melko ruuhkaista välillä. Huoneet on todella siistit.

Sijainti.
Kaupungin New York sydämessä sijaitseva Element New York Times Square West, perheille sopiva hotelli, on kävelymatkan päässä kohteista Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Toys 'R' Us Times Square ja New Amsterdam Theater. Lähistöllä ovat myös Macy's ja Bryant Park.
Hotellin palvelut.
Tämä hotelli on liiketoimintaan sopiva-hotelli, jossa on välipalabaari/deli. Huonehintaan sisältyy aamiainen ja johtajan vastaanotto tiettyinä päivinä.Nopea langatonja langallinen Internet-yhteys on ilmainen yleisillä alueilla. Tämän 3,5-tähden hotellin liiketoiminnan palveluihin sisältyvät liiketoimintakeskus, kokoushuoneet pienille ryhmille ja kokoushuone. Henkilökunta voi järjestää: concierge-palvelut, matkajärjestelyt/lippupalvelu ja kiertuepalvelut. Hotellissa on muun muassa seuraavat lisäpalvelut: kuntokeskus tai -sali, kielitaitoinen henkilökunta ja lahjaliikkeet / lehtikojut.Tämä on savuton hotelli. Tämän hotellin kunnostustyöt valmistuivat: lokakuu 2010.
Vierashuoneet.
Vierashuoneissa on joki, kaupunki tai vesi. Element New York Times Square Westn 411 ilmaistoidussa huoneessa on iPod-telakat ja tallelokerot. 32-tuumainen LCD-televisio, joissa on parhaat kaapelikanavat, ovat saatavissa. Huoneissa on työpöydät, ergonomiset tuolit ja langaton puhelin sekä ilmainen vastaajapalvelu. Vieraat voivat käyttää huoneissa ilmaista langatonta ja nopeaa langallista Internet-yhteyttä. Vuoteissa on petauspatja-patjat ja nimetyt vuoteet. Kaikissa huoneistoissa on keittonurkkaus, jossa on täysikokoinen jääkaappi / pakastin ja mikroaaltouuni. Kylpyhuoneissa on suihkut, meikkaus-/parranajopeilit, hiustenkuivaaja ja hygieniatuotteet (sisältyvät hintaan). Lisäpalveluihin kuuluvat ilmainen sanomalehti ja kahvin-/teenkeitin. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelu hyvää. Arkisin (17-19) pientä naposteltavaa ja juomaa tarjolla ilmaiseksi. Huoneesta hyvät näköalat (studio näköalalla). Miinusta ainoastaan aamupalasta.

Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Siistit ja toimivat huoneet, joissa myös avokeittiö astianpesukoneineen. Vaatteiden säilytystilaa olisi voinut olla hieman enemmän. Hotelli sijaitsee bussiaseman ja juna-aseman läheisyydessä. Voin suositella!
Hyvä sijainti ja siisti huone, jossa kaikki tarvittavat mukavuudet (jääkaappi, pakastin, mikroaaltouuni, leivänpaahdin, kahvinkeiting, astiasto ja jopa astianpesukone). Ylimmistä kerroksista hyvät näköalat. Suosittelen.
"Petyin Elementiin"
Petyin pahasti edelliseen visiittini kokemusta verrattaessa. Tämänkertainen huone oli kuluneen ja kuppaisen oloinen. Oven lukko oli rikki eikä toiminut, avaimia käytiin vaihtamassa respassa useita kertoja aina huoneeseen mennessä ja huoltomies kävi tutkailemassa tilannetta pariin otteeseen. "Erinomainen sijainti, pieniä puutteita"
Huippu sijainti ja yläkerrosten huoneista hienot näköalat. Huoneiden siisteydessä vähäisiä puutteita ja hotellin kolme hissiä eivät toimiessaan riitä pahimpina ruuhkahetkinä ja jostain syystä niillä on vielä tapana olla epäkunnossa useita kertoja viikossa. Eli jos ei kestä kärsivällisyys odotella 15+ minuuttia hissiä aamiaisaikaan niin kannattaa pyytää […] huonetta alemmista kerroksista josta jaksaa kävellä. Täysikokoinen jääkaappi, keittolevyt ja mikro joka huoneessa. Kellarin pyykkihuoneessa mahdollista pestä omia vaatteita kolikoilla toimivilla laitteilla. Ilmainen langaton netti ei riko nopeusennätyksiä ja oli viikon aikana useita kertoja poissa käytöstä teknisten ongelmien vuoksi. Lisätietoja

Excellent location, nice room, free wifi, very pleasant lounge area with glass roof. Ugliest view I've ever seen from my room, breakfast time ends quite early (9:30).

"Element New York -tyyliä ja käytännöllisyyttä"
Olimme reissussa 6 hengen kaveriporukalla ja kaikki olivat todella tyytyväisiä hotelliin. Huoneet olivat tyylikkäitä, siistejä ja käytännöllisiä: niistä löytyi jopa toimiva keittiö astioineen. Äänieristys ikkunoissa ei tosin ollut paras mahdollinen, mutta meidän unenlahjoillamme yöunet nukuttiin hyvin. Sänky oli mahtava. Aamupala sisältyi huoneen hintaan […] (siellä tosin kannatti olla ajoissa ja varautua siihen, että astiat ja ruoat loppuivat kesken. Ei myöskään kannata odottaa suurta ruokavalikoimaa. Pienillä odotuksilla olet tyytyväisempi), samoin ma-to "välipala", mihin sisältyi virvokkeet, olut, viini ja suolaista syötävää. Hotellin sijainti Times Squaren, Broadwayn teatterialueen ja hyvien liikenneyhteyksien läheisyydessä oli meidän tarpeisiimme täydellinen. Matkan tarkoitus oli nähdä ja kokea New York, ja sen teimme. Kattoterassi 40. kerroksessa oli kiva lisä:) Suosittelen! Etenkin nuorille ja meneville, mutta myös muille nuorekasta elämää arvostaville. "Nice hotel. Would definitely stay here again"
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little small but have everything you need. Extremely well located for Time Square and Macy's. Great having a dishwasher in your room. Your room is constantly top up with coffee. Housekeeping is also non invasive.
"good value, good staff"
Great view from the 36th floor, including the Empire State Bldg. The room had everything we needed and was clean; looked like the website photo. We arrived at 4 am and had no problems checking in. We tended to be out late at night, so we interacted most with the overnight staff who were helpful and fun. Didn't have any worries about walking the neighborhood […] at night. The hotel is great- I'd stay again in a heartbeat. Staff is friendly and professional. Just don't go strolling around for a quaint restaurant- nothing but chain food up there.....

"Excellent hotel for business or leisure"
It was an excellent experience. The registration desk is small and the lobby is somewhat frayed. However, the room was large and excellently maintained. The view of the city was stunning. The roof top deck is great. The breakfast was good, as was the wine hour.

"In the heart of New York City"
I enjoyed every minute of my stay at The Element Hotel. The staff is super-terrific! The room was lovely and the view was spectacular! Breakfast was included and they served complimentary beer and wine in the early evening from Monday to Thursday. Great value for the price!

This spot in Times Square (close to the E line and 8th Ave) is a great hub to start exploring Manhattan. Hotel is very clean and service is very good!

Great hotel! You can't go wrong here being just a couple blocks from the heart of Times Square. The staff were super friendly. Rooms were a bit small but this is typical for New York. Otherwise very clean and comfortable room and we would recommend this hotel. I can't say enough good things about this hotel ! The room was perfect. Big bathroom, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The room had a desk and as a huge bonus a kitchenette! As for the staff...they were beyond friendly. They provided 5* service from a toothbrush to getting a taxi !! Would definitely recommend this hotel. "All the essential Elements for a big apple visit"
The Element Hotel in west 39th street is located in a quiet street right in the centre of Manhattan. It is a stone's throw away from Times Square and very close to Penn Station, The Empire State Building sub-way stations and all other mid-town attractions. We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts and coffee to go which set us up for long days of sight seeing […] and walking. "Element Hotel: Close to the action and a HUGE room"
HUGE* by NYC standards. This hotel is a block from the subway and was a fantastic value given the size, amenities (including fully stocked kitchenette) and feel. We had a great view on the 36th floor. The only real drawback is the wait for the elevator. The elevators move fast, but leave yourself extra time around checkout and breakfast times. I took my son and grandchildren to NYC for Spring Break. Our stay at The Element was perfect for us. From the comfortable beds to the friendly,helpful employees our four nights here were great. Fuggidabout rude New Yorkers - none of them work at this hotel. The service staff was wonderful - kind, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and very efficiently laid out. We loved the gleaming white bedding and the two head shower. We would stay here again! And included breakfast and wifi: a great bargain.

I have stayed in nyc twice before stayin here. I stayed in a well known hotel and was quite unhappy. The Element made our time in nyc sooo much better. I will never stay anywhere else in nyc besides here. Lovely clean room(cleaned daily)...big bed., lovely sheets..flat screen tv and massive shower. One block from times square its at the centre OF EVERYTHING! […] We checked-in in appox 30secs! The staff are the MOST friendly, professional and kindest I'VE EVER experienced and I've travelled many places all over the world. They go above and beyond their job duties to ensure your stay is a great one... and helped my friend and I on many quiries we had and did so with such grace and willingness. Free breakfast (buffet) is included in the price and free tea/coffee all day along with free wi-fi, comp area and gym!! I would HIGHLY recommend ANYONE to stay here. My only negative is it doesnt have room service...but seriously..you're in nyc walk ten sec's and you can find any food restaurant. (Or bring food back and cook it in your kitchen!) "Perfect choice for NYC"
Great, clean, comfortable hotel! This fairly new hotel was a welcome retreat after sightseeing each day. The rooms were very nice and clean and included a kitchenette. It's within 3 blocks of Times Sq and a block from the Subway. We will definitely stay here again when we return!
"Very friendly staff"
Very friendy staff, very comfortable bed, room serviced very well. The lobby area is quite small and area is quite hectic in the morning due to this. They had issues with the lifts when we were there. On the whole though a very enjoyable stay due to a very nice comfortable room and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay again.
"need to do something about the elevators."
with 40 floors you need more then 3 elevators . also the elevators are shared with the housekeeping and maintenance staff which put you down to 2 elevators for the guest.i waited a long time most of the time for the elevators...which is unexceptable. if i wasn't 24 floors up i would of taken the stairs....this issue needs to be addressed...everything […] else was great Lisätietoja

All the staff were very helpful and pleasant all the time. Room was on the small side - to be expected this is New York. The room was clean and very complete with fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave & cofee maker. Really really liked the free full breakfast in the morning and the refreshments with snacks in the late afternoon. Bathroom shower had rainhead […] and separate wand shower heads. "Great amenities, location and staff!"
I stayed at this hotel for business so the proximity to Times Square wasn't a factor for me, but it is just around the corner making it convenient for tourists. The staff was very warm and helpful, and helped to enrich the stay. The free wi-fi, breakfast and receptions during the evening were also an unexpected surprise, which saved me both time and […] money on extra services, dining, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable with zero reports or evidence of bed bugs (which is a huge concern for me).
