If you are to see the historical Charleston, this is your hotel. Location as well as the hotel itself is superb. Middle of the historical district, historical museum just 200 meters away... free shutle busses leave just in front of the hotel.. visitors centre 150 meters away..

This hotel/house was fantastic!!! The room was very large and charismatic with old southern charm. The bathroom linen would be what you would expect in your own home and not in a hotel. Soft thick towels and good toiletries. Have a car park across the road, so it's convenient enough. But you won't need your car at all, as the house is placed right in […] the walking district of Charleston, so just step outside and walk everywhere from there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a house rather than a modern hotel. The only thing I would change is the personalities of the cleaning staff, as they rarely spoke, didn't return the "hello" back to you, and just seemed like they didn't want to be there, or you to be there.
