A simple and cheap place to stay. If you travel with handluggage and are happy in some exercise between flights, it takes about 45-60 minutes to walk from the airport. There is also a shuttle buss to the other hotels in that area - from the neighbouring hotels it is a 5 min walk.

While conveniently located to the airport, it is difficult to find, especially in the dark. The hotel is only in fair condition. Cleaning appears to be sporadic and incomplete. We found an empty beer bottle in the room and it was shoddily equipped. We had a room for 4, which consisted of two rooms and a small bath. The bath was in the other persons […] room and the doors didn't close without jamming, causing us to bang it to open it. Not a good thing in the middle of the night. Also, the second room's beds blocked the door from opening completely. If you were overweight, you will never make it into the bathroom, and there is no way to rearrange the beds to make it more accessible. The hotel is a haven for truck drivers needing a place to sleep. It is, therefore, necessary to run the smoke gauntlet in order to enter the building. No slight intended toward the drivers, it's just that they smoke, a lot, and will stand on the narrow front porch talking and smoking. If your room is on the second floor, you may not want to try to open your windows for "fresh" air. All in all, avoid this location like the plague. Lisätietoja

A very convenient location for arrival/departure from Oslo airport. If it's good weather and you'd like to walk, there's a nice paved path the entire way from airport to motel (about 5km/3miles), which isn't a bad option, since a taxi ride will set you back about US$30 for those same 3 miles, (shuttle buses run regularly as well and cost a bit less […] than a taxi—though not much). If you catch a cab or shuttle be sure to make the driver aware that you're going to Gardermoen Airport Motel and NOT “Hotel,” because there is a “Gardermoen Airport Hotel” and since it's ever-so-slightly closer to the airport and more visible, you're likely to be taken to the wrong place (you can't really see the Motel from the highway and it's further down the road from the Hotel, which is clearly seen on the side of the road). Rooms are very small but can be had with private bath, compact but very modern & clean—clean when you check in: they are not cleaned during your stay, nor were towels or linens changed. No big deal for a short stay, probably an issue if you're there a while though. Breakfast is great, with a wide variety of cereals, breads, spreads (even small tubes of caviar for those so inclined!), cheeses, yogurts, meats, hard boiled eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers—all fresh & high quality. Downside is that you're far from everything—the city itself, restaurants, grocery stores, etcetera—with the exception of one gas station near the airport that has a surprisingly decent selection of relatively healthy choices for food/snacks. WiFi in the rooms was “broken,” but there's a couple computers available if you need internet. If you don't have wads of money to blow, you're better off in somewhere besides Oslo, but if you're going to go and need to budget, this place is a good value: fill up on that breakfast. Lisätietoja

1. Transportation: You can take a shuttle from the airport to this motel via Bus#44. It will cost you 70NOK each way. This scared me at first -thinking the motel is going to be a run-down place. But once you’re inside the buildings, everything is actually pretty NEW and CLEAN. They just installed hardwood floors in my building when i checked in. 4. Amenities: here are 4 buildings from what i observed. The white one looks like a banquet hall. The main green building may be the suites with their own kitchen. The one on the right is the hostel with the washing machine. And the one on the left are the en-suite rooms of which I stayed in. -After a 10day trip across different countries, the laundry facility came in handy for me. You need to make a 100NOK deposit for the washing machine card at the front desk. But you can get it back once you give them back the card. -There is NO air conditioner. So keep that in mind if you are thinking of staying here in the summer months. Luckily for me, I was staying during the autumn season, and the heat warmed up the placed pretty quickly. -There IS free WIFI. I just asked the front desk for the password. I tested the speed. It was 20Mbps download, and 20Mbps upload. Pretty fast! 5 Overall, you get what you paid for. I knew it wasn’t the Ritz so I wasn’t expecting much other than a clean room in a quiet location. For someone interested in simple but clean accommodations, this is a great option. I wish I had known in advance how the shuttle from the airport worked (take Bus 44), but once I got there by cab I found out from the staff and was able to take the bus other times. One update: wireless Internet is no longer free there. I don't recall what the rates were, […] but decided it wasn't worth it for the amount of time I was staying there. Close to the main airport, this motel provides shuttle service to and from the airport. Rooms are small with enough room to hold two people. Facilities are fine for just staying the night while awaiting to fly out. Small breakfast service is available, but no other services are in or around the hotel. Maybe I'm not savvy to what Europe think a Motel is so it may be my mistake, but in the U.S. "Motel" is not equal to "Hostel". I was a little surprised by it. The room was clean but small. The internet was not accessible from the room, and there are no stores or other amenities within walking distance of the place (other than high priced hotel bars). This motel is nothing fancy, but it is perfectly adequate for a quick stay when you have an early flight to catch. Our room was clean and comfortable, had a small refrigerator and TV. Wireless internet is free -- they give you the password at reception. The sheets/pillow cases are folded in a stack on the bed when you arrive, so you have to make the […] bed yourself. I know other reviewers did not like this, but at least this way you can tell you are getting fresh sheets. I am always afraid of dirty sheets at budget motels! The bedding here was most definitely clean. The bathroom was a little strange in that the shower is not separated from the toilet and sink by anything except a curtain, so when you take a shower, the entire bathroom floor gets wet. This hotel is not the newest or fanciest in the neighborhood around the airport but it did have ample space for our family of four with a kitchen for far less than the surrounding options. It is well used but the room was neat and clean. The room was clean and that's all I needed. You won't find much more. The trip to the airport costs NOK 70 per adult and runs every 1/2 hour. There was no elevator to the second floor and I had to carry all my luggage. The cab driver confused it with the "Airport Hotel", which was 2 minutes closer to the airport, so it was a good thing that I remembered […] from the picture that I was in the wrong place. We were disappointed in that the motel was closer to a Hostel than a Motell. Not what we expected at all. The room was old and tired and very small although the Bathroom and Linen were at least clean. We had booked a double room but had two single beds and told that was all that was available. Be aware that it is easy to confuse this motel with Gardermoen Airport Hotel .... nice place, kitchen with oven etc is convenient.

Vi skulle bare få oss litt søvn natta før tidlig avreise med fly og hadde bare behov for en rimelig seng uten frokost. Perfekt for oss og nær Dalen parkering.

Trevlig personal. Ett spartanskt motell men ett mycket bra val inför en storstadssemester. Helt okej rum, med tv. Bra förbindelser till flygplatsen med "Shuttlebus" precis utanför dörren. Ett stort plus att man kunde ha kvar bilen på motellets parkering helt utan kostnad under utlandsvistelsen

Service og renheten var veldig bra. Enkelt, men du har alt du behøver. Minuset var at det var veldig lytt og bevegelser i trapp og i gang hørtes godt inn på rommet. Siden vandrehjemmet ligger på Gardermoen, kommer gjester gjerne sent fra flyet og drar veldig tidlig for å nå sin flyavgang. Dette medførte at det var få timer midt på natten at det var […] rolig. Jeg var noget overrasket over, at jeg selv skulle tage dyne/hovedpude betrækpå lige så med lagenet. Det har jeg aldrig været ude for før

Helt grei overnatting, du må selv skifte på sengene men god frokost og god pris pr natt.

Overnattet her en natt siden vi hadde et tidlig fly fra gardermoen. Et helt ok hotell, ganske så lite dobbeltrom, men det duger. Man må selv re opp når man ankommer, det er forsåvidt greit, men sengen så litt møkkete ut.. De i resepsjonen kunne vært litt hyggeligere..

Det kunne gjerne vært en beskrivelse av hvordan en kommer seg til motellet når man ankommer med fly eller tog (uten egen bil). Det ble en stor ekstra kostnad å ta shuttlebuss t/r. Ble også litt overrasket over at vi måtte legge på sengetøyet selv, men ok. Det var rent og helt greit.

Hotellet var pænt og ok for en enkelt overnatning. Der er ingenting at klage over. Hvis jeg ville have luksus, kunne jeg bare have valgt et dyrt hotel Morgenmadsudvalget var ganske begrænset, men også billigt. Pris og kvantitet/kvalitet hænger godt sammen. Ingen grimme lugte, som beskrevet i andre bedømmelser. Lidt svært at finde i mørke. Rommet var så lite for 2 personer at man ikke engang fikk inn to kofferter uten å legge den ene på bordet. frokosten var chip. Prisen burde vært kr. 350.00 1, 1/2 stjerne.

Gardermoen Airport motell er grei nok for overnatting. Da det mangler noen av et vanlig hotells fasiliteter som feks restaurant/bar mv. så blir det lite å foreta seg utenom det å sove. Grei frokost og ok tilbringertjeneste.

Dette er et greitt motell hvor det mangler noen hotellfasiliteter. Bl.a er det lite å foreta seg dersom man kommer tidlig på dagen til motellet. Det er ingen matservering blant annet. Likevel, frokosten er fullt brukbar.

Hadde kun behov for overnatting nært gardermoen, og det fikk jeg her. Drawbacket var at stort sett hele 2 etg. var fullbooket av utenlandske arbeidere, som enten hadde fått lønning eller var glade for at det var lørdag. Mye støy og fyll. Såpass at det var sjenerende. Dog var det fredelig og ingen kø ved frokostserveringa neste dag ;) Støvdotter og tråder […] fra tak og vegger, men alt i alt, et billig og greit alternativ. Lisätietoja

Rommet var for enkelt i forhold til prisen. Der var et tynt teppe og kjølig i rommet så jeg måtte legge meg i klærne og ta ting ut av kofferten for å legge oppå teppet. Det synes jeg ikke er OK. Ellers var det greit!

Er det verste jeg noen gang har sett,skittent og en en ubeskrivelig vont lukt i rommet, måtte bare snu og finne en annen plass

Har ligget her flere ganger, og er et greit og billig overnattingstilbud for den som bare skal legge seg nedpå noen timer. Var litt uheldig denne gangen da jeg fikk ett rom som hadde dårlig luft. Det virket som om det var stekt fiskekaker på rommet!

Jeg har ikke større behov enn en ren seng, et rengjort rom og en dusj. Dette fikk jeg for halvparten av prisen i forhold til nabohotellet. Helt greit!

Ikke tilfreds med servicen og standard på rommet, har reist i 30 år, men dette e det dårligste jeg har opplevd. Måtte til og med reie opp sengen selv.

Motellet selv averterer med "store, lyse rom", men det rommet vi fikk var så lite at sengen var den eneste sitteplassen. Gangen mot rommet stanket av råtnende mandariner, men det var ingenting mot stanken av innestengt svette på rommet. Felleskjøkkenet var fullt av skitten oppvask og søppel. Mikrobølgeovnene inneholdt matrester nok til å fø en liten […] familie. Jeg ville ikke bodd her på nytt om det så var gratis! I tillegg rer man opp sengene selv, og når det finnes ordentlige hoteller rett i nærheten, hvorfor skulle man ville bo i slik en svinesti? Resepsjonisten snakket dårlig norsk, og enda dårligere engelsk, og hele stedet virker som noe man kjøpte for å tjene penger så lenge som mulig, så får det heller bare ramle sammen der det står. Hvis du trenger et sted å overnatte i nærheten av Gardermoen for en billig penge er dette motellet for deg. Hyggelig service, greit utvalg av mat etc i kiosken, og et felles kjøkken tilgjengelig i hvert bygg. Gratis Wifi. Billig parkering (30 kr). Du må re opp selv.

Ikke særlig velegnet for en som er hemmet når det gjelder å gå. Måtte ta drosje fra og til flyplassen, fordi jeg ikke greier gå distansen til Shuttle-bussen, og heller ikke løfte mer enn 2 kg. Så det ble en dyr overnatting. Hyggelig betjening på dagtid.

Helt grei overnatting med god standard i forhold til den rimelige prisen.
