For the great price of this hotel you are getting wonderful value. The hotel is very clean, rooms in the 400 section were very modern and nicely decorated. The staff and service is excellent. Had a great time with 4 friends and would definitely return.

The shame of it is that the property has potential. Yet from the front desk on, its a very different concept. Ex: the phone in my room did not work and replacemnt came day & half later (which didnt work also). There was a dead bird on my poolside view deck (ground floor) the entire 4 days i was there. There were 0 towels in my room for the first day. […] The food in buffet was not bad, yet to reserve any of the 2 other restaurants (not 5) was not told that it has to be 24 hrs before. The place was empty why so long? Just an extra side note, I got the nicer suite and the TV was a 26 LCD vs 40 or 50 in any room this size I ve ever been too. In fact couldnt see it because of a bed post on my side of the bed, lol. The hotel was also under construction which limited access areas. I asked for a souvenier key (logo card key)(mine was plain white) and was told NO sorry! 90% those get tossed anyways and to top off my stay they said no. Wait it get better, they try to sell you on vacation club for thier hotel system and say its because you are not VIP service now but will be! LOL . The first answer out of any question is ... NO then they think about it. They say it very nicely btw with a nice smile. Oh I had no blanket on my bed the first two days just sheets. I am so upset the little time I have to relax and wasted it here. I asked to talk to GM and was told he was at lunch..... 11 am. If you wait 3 yrs and they get a new owner the place might be nice. Overall, this is a decent hotel. If you stay in one of the delux rooms with the balcony you will be satisfied. While I've been to better hotels, Hamaca is worth the money they charge. They are making many renovations and the overall quality has improved since I last visited six months ago. They do need to improve the quality of their entertainment shows […] in the evening, however, you will enjoy their magic show (i believe on Wednesday). It was amazing. The staff is friendly and very helpfull. The place is clean and pools are well taken care of. The beach is amazing and very clean. If you cannot affort a 5 star expensive resort, visit Hamaca. The service was awful. We arrived at around 3:30 pm for check in, there were two people ahead of as in line plus the people being attended to and we waited in line and got our keys close to 4:30 pm. No one guides the guest around the hotel, no one greets guests anywhere on grounds. As we walked through the main entrance there were a couple of staff […] with what looked like a lemonade stand and no greetings again, they were talking amongst themselves and after being in line for abt an hour we decided to approach them and ask for a drink as this appeared to be welcome beverage which no one was offering. Then our room was through a long creepy hallway and a luggage person was supposed to guides to this far far away room and he took us to the downstairs of the hallway and pointed us in the direction of the room and left us there, little did we know there were several turns to make through this maze and we ended up asking other people for guidance. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights (Friday - Sunday) and the food was the same everyday for each meal at the buffet, there were 3 other restaurants that required reservation but were never available, only the French gourmet was available which was not in our interest. The food was bad, tasteless; for a hotel to be right on the beach there was very minimal seafood choices. During that weekend the only seafood available was baked hake fish and a small sardine fish with all the spines and scales. Bad experience all around! Lisätietoja

the hotel has a new tower call presidential suites it is located off on the other end of the main property which means a loooong walk from the front desk. This wouldnt be a problem if the phones where connected to the main building so that you dont have to walk everytime you had to handle any kind of issue with them. BUT they can activate the safes […] which you have to pay for from the front desk automatically but again if you did not do that at check in you will have to YES walk back to set it up. They are wayyy under staffed i had to constantly wait by the pool bar for a beer and the food was constantly running out. The presidential suites are nice rooms but not worth the money considering the rest of the property almost ....the rooms might be worth it the rest of the property complimented them. Lisätietoja

The hotel is awful, the food is terrible, nothing ever worked. The staff is everything BUT helpful, to the point that they will walk away from you. Tried to get an internet password over the span of my stay (5 days) and left without ever getting it. Don't waste your money going there you will regret it.

This hotel is nice depending on where they put you. They are different buildings and some are very old and the furniture is very old and at times broken. We had one of the best room which was located at the new building, The cons no plugs for a three way and they do not provided it for you. They want you to go to a hardware store to buy one. Also there […] is no telephone service in the room if you need to call out. Apparently they have been trying to install the system for the past two years. They want you to go to the front desk and deposit 200 pesos and then you can make the call from the lobby. When you go back to get your deposit back they will charged you for the call, however they have no change available to give you back I am in the state and I am still waiting for my change. They are not to organize at the front desk. The food is terrible, hardly any choices. We ate at the restaurants next door, Neptuno and Boca Marina. The pelicano restaurant is not a good one, has the same food that the hotel offers. This hotel can be a great hotel with a better management. Great beach and is very close to airport and capital. I will stay there again just for the great beach, also because is near by the airport and the Capital. And again the new building suites are great. After reading all the reviews, I was pretty scared that this would turn into a horrible trip. I just got back recently after a 3night stay, and I was pleased overall. This is my first time over seas, and you are not in America! So keep that in mind with the language barrier (not a huge issue at all really) and the service at the reasturants. However […] it was very easy to book activities and reservations for the reasturants. The All you can eat was hit or miss, but overall good I feel for what we payed. Beach is beauitful, and there are people on the beach trying to sell you services (ATV, horseback riding, etc), but they do work for the hotel, and a simple No will usually do. However if you give interest then they will try to sell but that is their job ...lol. Overall our room was great, most of the staff friendly, only thing I dont recommend is the the brazillian reasturant...horrible food and serivce! Had a number of problems. 1. Safe didn't work had to move to another room. 2. Water drained from sheer to floor the drain was stopped up in bathroom water everywhere, take much too long to unstop drain. 3. Bannister broken on stairwell in room, never repaired. 4. Final straw, water flooded room thru window. Was told to wait until 3 to change room. Curtains, […] couch and other furniture wet from Irene. It was awful. After 4 hours of trying to resolve I insisted on checking out and getting credit for remaining nights. People waited at front desk for hoursand they seemed totally unconcerned. If you have to go to boca chica.. then this place is quite cheap (from internet) and you can have a private beach. But don't go there for an other reason.

Es beginnt bei der Reception das Sie keine Fremdsprache sprechen und absolut keine Berufserfahrung haben. Sie besitzen im ganzen Hotel kein Schirm. und die Zimmer sind im schlechten Zustand.
