Hyvät kulkuyhteydet kaikkialle, metro lähellä sekä bussipysäkki hotellin vieressä. Huone erinomainen kaupunkinäkymillä. Aamiainen onneton( sis.hintaan), kertakäyttöastiat, painottuu makeisiin leivonnaisiin.

Sijainti hyvä, keskusta kävelymatkan päässä. Autoparkki hoidettiin hienosti. Aamiainen oli kohtuullinen mutta naapurustossa on hyviä aamiaispaikkoja. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Huoneet hyvät ja oikein viihtyisät. Alakerran lobbybaarissa oli viinimaistajaiset iltaisin.

"Good visit"
We were just visiting DC shortly for a Caps game with my son. Good location outside Washington as we left in the morning heading north. We didn't have to face the DC morning traffic. The hotel is nice and clean. The service at the reception was good.
"Clean Modern Decor and Very Quiet"
I have traveled quite a bit for both work and personal trips. This is a great hotel if you have your own car. Free parking and free WiFi. I am also a ballroom dancer and liked that it was right next to Hollywood Ballroom where I could go social dancing on Friday night. We used to stay in one of the hotels in downtown Silver Spring but both of them remodeled and increased their rates without improving their amenities or the comfort of their rooms. We think the Hilton Garden Inn is an excellent alternative. It's clean, comfortable, has a good breakfast buffet and is only 10 minutes from downtown on a major uncongested […] artery. "Comfort, Relaxing, Value"
My daughter booked the rooms - I guess she included this e-mail for my room. I really liked the layout of the lobby, welcome area and eating area. We had so much to do we did not relax as I had hoped and were in the hotel basically to sleep. It is not necessary to post this review. Thank you.

1 vastaus, Hilton Garden Inn Silver Spring NorthWas unable to adjust the mattress to a softer setting. It remained firm even at the soft setting. I have a back problem, so this was important to me. I did wake with back ache, which usually happens with a firm mattress. I was some what disappointed, but not a deal breaker.

I am sure with a back problem, that was very unsettling to know you were going to wake up with a back ache. I apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. We stayed the weekend of Thanksgiving and were impressed by everything about this hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms, free wifi (a must), breakfast buffet (not included), and chilled lemon water and cookies in the lobby. Our room only had a shower so if a bathtub is a must inquire ahead of time. We'll come back next year.
My YaYa was very pleased with the location and comfortability of the hotel

"ND v Maryland football game"
The front desk staff was the downfall of our review. We arrived at 2:00 pm and walked in hoping to check in to our room. The young "lady" at the front desk said there was no early check in for the day and that we were to come back later. We went out to sit in our car in the parking lot and came back in at 2:55. I stood in front f the desk waiting to […] be greeted- never happened. I think had to ask if it was possible to check in now and she "checked" -then said yes. Our room was nice but had an odd odor- almost like stale smoke- we do not smoke so was a little put off by that. We were off to the game. Arrived back at the hotel around 12:30 am to walk in and see the front desk attendant sitting on the back counter head slumped down asleep. We startled him as we walked by- his head whipped up and he said hello. Wow. Breakfast was very nice as was the staff helping- only redeeming quality from the negative front desk experience. Everything was perfect until, unfortunately, I found a stain on the bed the next morning. Disgusted, I brought it to the attention of the General Manager. He went to go see for himself, greatly apologized, and promised me a free night during my next visit. I have stayed there on two separate occassions, one for 6 days, then for another 3 days within a 5 week period. The surrounding "parking lot" neighborhood boasts low key, budget conscience restaurants. Other retail shops nearby, too. American Grill in HGI is small, clean, with an upscale menu. However, it needs staff who know the menu and how to work […] as server/waiter. Don't get me wrong...the server was delightful, but very inexperienced. The morning buffet is lovely and the access to the free coffee (only) in wonderful. Had not asked for Handicap Assessable when I booked the room. When I asked upon registering, I was given a room with all the necessary bathroom items. It was just great. The staff is very accomodating. The food was very good in their restaurant. Would definitly stay there again.

The hotel room was larger than I expected with all the amenities you could need. It had a mini fridge and a microwave with the usual coffee/tea maker as well. The TV was a large flat panel with enough channels. The beds were very comfy with adjustable settings for softness. The hotel has a restaurant and bar but just a few yards away is a new row of […] restaurants from fast food to sit down and also a 7-11. My travelers and I were absolutely satisfied with our stay here. There could not possibly be a better hotel in the city. The upscale decor, ammenities cleanliness and comfort made for a great stay. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay at the Silver Springs Hilton Garden. The accomodations were comfortable clean and quiet. It was easy to get to and centrally located for us to visit family and attend events.

We really enjoyed the clean room and friendly staff along with the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven. The location is not that great but, there are a few nice places to eat and a convience store a few steps away that comes in handy. Overall, I would definately stay again and recommend it.

When I checked into the room I specifically asked for a quiet room. They assured me that it was. However at 3:00 am I woke from the sound of several high school athletes running up and down the hall banging on each other's doors and shouting in the hallway. I called to the front desk to ask them to send someone up to resolve this. It continued for another […] 2 hours. When I asked the next morning about it they said they had been there all week. I asked if they were only on that floor and they said yes. So when I asked for a quiet room they could've at least put me on a separate floor since they were aware that these kids were causing chaos and had several complaints. Nice, clean, typical HGI experience. Great staff. The location isn't the best, but the price is right if you have a car at your disposal.

Free parking. Room keys had to be recoded daily, sometimes multiple times per day (many rooms had this issue). Jacuzzi built for one. Pool 'max' is 7. Staff often not at desk, especially after midnight. Don't bother signing form at check in to get 75 cents credit daily if you don't take the paper - paper is free and they won't credit you even if you […] sign what they ask you to. Fridge replaced as it smelled like it was burning (more than once). Walls are thin (noise from other room tvs comes through clearly). Shampoo not replaced when empty. one of the best in the chain. - stairway hard to find! with the complementary breakfast like other hotels in the chain that will put it on the top of the short list.
