This was our second stay at Blythswood Square in Glasgow and we only live in Edinburgh but it is the perfect location for a luxurious staycation! Staff are very friendly and efficient. Rooms are lovely - very comfortable. Spa is beautiful we spent nearly three hours enjoying the thermal experience and were so relaxed we could barely make it out of our […] room afterwards. We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the Blythswood Square Hotel - excellent reception staff and very comfortable room. Only minor complaints are that the WIFI didn't work in our bedroom and the TV didn't work for listening to the radio.

Worth every penny! Front desk treats you like a best friend, ambience is modern yet comfortable, rooms are superb. I didn't want to leave. I'm spoiled with duck feathers (comfy bed). Spa was fun to explore. When they say to come early for breakfast, do so! Food is great, but buffet gets slim past rush hour. This was my second stay here and again, it was fantastic. The breakfast was worth the visit alone! Add in the huge TV with preloaded movies and speakers in the ceiling (and bathroom), rainforest shower, comfy bed, lovely staff and amazing cocktails and you have a winner!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and very comfortable. Every member of staff we met was polite, friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Food was great all in all a fantastic stay :)

The conditions in the hotel were wonderful and so clean it felt like home. I thought the bed was amazing and I feel asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The elegance of the bathroom set the room apart from other hotels in the area and the service provided by the staff was top notch. Would stay at Blythswood hotel again and again.

david, tom and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful and appropriately friendly. the spa was wonderful , though signs could be a little more visible . the restaurant food was excellent BUT the service was third rate. the maitre d was rude when he discovered that ihad ordered 2 glasses of wine -not a bottle !

Located in a quiet square, yet a short walk to shopping, theater and restaurants. The hotel has a beautifully restored lobby in a landmark building. Updated and comfortable, quiet rooms. A TOP hotel in every way. Oustanding seervice from Concerges (2) and Staff and Kitchen staff. They suffered a power cut for about 3 hours on Saturday afternoon and diner ws still served on time and excellent cooking. I will return.

A fabulous experience from the moment we arrived at this more than impressive TownHouse Collection jewel. Staff were friendly and courteous, room was outstanding, and the cocktail bar simply a wonderful way to kick off our Saturday night. Just a shame we couldn't stay longer. A good hotel, with good food, and excellent service. We stayed here for two nights. The location is excellent, being very central. The entrance lobby was quite grand but modern. First impressions were good. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful in that efficient, well trained way of an upmarket hotel. All services were on hand if needed. The building has an original part and an extended […] part which meant that there were two separate lifts serving different blocks of room numbers. This could cause slight puzzlement if, for instance, you entered the lift from the spa area and found you could not go directly to your particular room level but it was not a big issue for us and the staff took care to explain the issue. We did not eat in the hotel in the evening but if the breakfast was anything to go by, it would have been very good on all fronts - service, organisation, food and staff. The spa facilities were comprehensive and very good. Once signed in, you were shown to the changing area. Personally, I was then left to my own devices to discover where everything was and how things worked. Not too taxing but a short tour round would have been appreciated. We had complimentary access to the whole facility outside the main daytime hours, which suited us as we were out for most of each day. There was a full list of other treatments available should you be so inclined. The fairly small and unsupervised fitness room was available to all residents with no time restrictions. Our room was a deluxe double. It was very modern and quite spacious. It had everything you need but sometimes one can't help wondering if the folk who design these spaces actually ever stay in them. The practicality of the room could be better in say, positioning of power sockets, location of tea/coffee facilities, having a shower cubicle with a non seal door that would be fine in a wet room except that it was not a wet room. Having stayed at the Blythswood on several occasions, we found the Hotel is consistently of a very high standard both in comfort and service. On this visit we sampled the Afternoon Tea in the Salon which we would recommend to anyone looking for a treat! The Spa is also worth a visit for relaxation after a long day out.
