Beautifully restored Victorian home. Warm and very helpful owners/hosts, spotless rooms, wonderful, imaginative breakfast. Couldn't have been better.

The owners were really friendly, and took time to tell us a bit about the home's history. The breakfast was very delicious. If you are passing through on a road trip, this is a really nice place to spend the night. The town was completely dead, though. We couldn't find a single restaurant open on a Saturday evening.

A very charming Victorian mansion. It has been expertly and lovingly restored. There are only four bedrooms but all are very comfortable and well decorated. You truly well like you are a guest in someone's home and you are pampered!

I booked this place after seeing the photograph on Hotels.com and the positive reviews. If you think the outside picture looks interesting then the inside is simply stunning. A great host, who cooks a fantastic breakfast. If you like the homely style and enjoy breakfast chatting with other people this is superb.
The house is an old mansion. The rooms reflect the time that the mansion was built and they are beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding and the service was wonderful. The people running the establishment were some of the friendliest people that I have met.

The Ferris Mansion is worth a trip to Rawlins, WY. Kay-Marie greeted us immediately after we parked in their off-street area. She helped my wife with her luggage, steadied her up the front steps and up the stairs to our room (my wife has a bad hip and almost no night vision). We were then brought ice water and orange juice on a silver tray with crystal […] glasses, and this was about 10PM when Kay-Marie had already spent a full day with other guests. The mansion has been restored by Kay-Marie's parents over a period of 20+ years, and it is magnificent! Breakfast was superb, and we used goldware including gold napkin rings. Probably the best travel experience I've had in many years, and we plan to return (we stayed in the "Blue Room" in a comfortable bed and were treated to a clawfoot bathtub. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A beautiful Victorian style building, furnished with great taste and care by the daughter of the original owners. Although the bathroom is more than tiny, we would love to return at any time. Highly recommendable.

"Far more interesting than a regular hotel!"
We travel through Rawlins frequently and I'm always eager to get out of town as quickly as possible. I thought the only thing there was wind and trucks. Staying at the Ferris Mansion was like staying at a museum. My daughter and I had a great time reading the scrapbooks with the mansion's history and looking at all the antiques. We will stay again!

I highly recommend this B&B. It is restored to a beautiful condition and architectural buffs should visit for the tour if nothing else. Their breakfasts are great, service is great, and rooms are very comfortable. Within 2 blocks from hike and bike trail that leads above the old penitentiary. Stay here.

This was one of the most delightful places I have ever stayed. The home was perfect in every detail. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful.
