The hotel was conveniently located. It was out of the hustle and bustle, but still convenient. Room was clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend. It was a great price :)

Location could not have been better- less expensive than staying right in Charleston, but can get to downtown in less than 10 minutes. "Worth the Money - But one small issue"
The hotel is noticeably cheaper than staying in the historic district of Charleston, was very clean, had a nice outdoor pool and a good breakfast including waffles, bacon and eggs. The only problem was that the maid didn't provide fresh toiletries each day (shampoo, conditioner, and soap) We had to ask at the desk where they were very accomodating. […] Same with toilet paper. I always like to see a second roll sitting there when the one you're using is "thinning out". So... it's a nice hotel, excellent location, friendly and competent desk personnel, but our maid was apparently participating in a conservation competition and was doling out some of the essentials as if she was paying for them herself. . We have stayed in this particular Hampton Inn before and we completely satisfied again. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant . We have stayed in the Hampton Inn downtown as well and find this to just as convenient , pleasant , and completely efficient at a cheaper price. This is a gem

My recent stay here was extremely pleasant. The hotel itself is clean and well-managed. The staff are pleasant and helpful. My room was quiet and comfortable. This hotel is just across the Ravenel Bridge from Charleston, so it is close to all the downtown attractions without having to pay such a high price. Also, Mt. "Perfect Location"
Just the right distance to downtown Charleston and a perfect location for visiting the USS Yorktown and taking the Ferry to Ft. Sumter. Couldn't have picked a better spot. Plus, the breakfast was very yummy and the lobby staff was very knowledgeable and accomodating. Will return.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We were a party of 8 and they were even happy to let us order Chinese food and eat in the lobby one evening. Super friendly! Close to downtown Charleston. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel, would stay again. Unfortunately the room next door had the TV on all night at a loud volume. Called the front desk at 3:30 AM to complain but no answer. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay and a beautiful hotel.

"Great bang for your buck!"
Our recent stay at the Hampton Inn exceeded our expectations. Service was outstanding; Shakira did an amazing job of making us feel welcome and was super friendly. We got lost getting off of the bridge and she was so kind, she actually stayed on the phone w/us until we pulled into the parking lot! The hotel is kept VERY clean. From the lobby to the […] elevators to the hallways to the room, the housekeeping staff is on top of it! Our room was incredibly comfortable too, we LOVED the soft beds and cloud-like pillows, we were well rested! Also for those of you who are coffeeholics, their coffee is delicious! Tip: If you're willing to forgo the closeness of walking into the city center, you can get a much better deal by staying at this Mt. Pleasant Hampton Inn vs. staying at a place in downtown Charleston. Getting to the city center is uber easy, you just cross over the bridge and you're there, it's seriously about a ten minute drive and that's it. We met my sister there to go on a Carnival cruise out of Charleston. The location was great. We left one of our cars parked and rode over to the pier to catch the boat together. That saved us parking fees.

I had a meeting to attend in Charleston so I found this hotel on hotels.com. The location was perfect, surroundings pleasant, and it was a great room. I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Charleston.

Very good hotel! Due to the great service, clean rooms, and friendly staff, we would definitely stay there again on our travels and recommend it to others as well. Finding a reliable hotel is hit or miss, and this one is a hit with us!

Our room was modern and spacious. Really nice mood lighting and fantastic bedding. Flat panel TV. What more do you want for the price? The hotel is a six minute drive from downtown Charleston and is located next to a plaza with a Whole Foods supermarket. I cannot imagine budget-minded travelers with a car doing any better than this place.

Perfect site for the five minute drive downtown the ten minute drive to the beach and surrounded by restaurants and historical sites and right up the road from a supermarket. Nice rooms with blackout shades and AC, great breakfast and snacks daily, staff was wonderful. "Met every need"
I was in Charleston area because of a medical emergency with a grandchild. My room was warm and inviting, marvelously clean. I could not have asked for more. Due to recent surgery myself, I needed a H/C accessible room. I hated asking for it since those bathrooms can be so uninviting. But this one was beautiful and met every need. I will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton in over Memorial Day weekend this year! There was nothing incredible about the hotel rooms, but they were clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was clean, and the breakfast was pretty good too! Stayed here for a weekend. It's rather far from most places of interest but if you have a car you'll be fine. People working there were super nice so I'll stay there again if I'm in area again.

We enjoyed a great week at the Hampton and Charleston area. Very good location to visit the city, Ft. Sumter, Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. The hotel was booked every night, sometimes the breakfast food ran low. Several restaurants nearby. Excellent parking, no fee.

We were visiting Charleston for the weekend and looking to save a few bucks on the hotel. We really wanted to stay in historic downtown but the prices were just way too high. This Hampton Inn was a great alternative - right next to the highway so it was a short trip to downtown. The staff we all very friendly & helpful. The room was very nice, clean with nice furniture & decor. Continental breakfast was a treat-with coffee always available. Over all a very nice hotel & would stay there again.

My a/c didnt work well, other than that it wasa nice. Breakfast was good. Its close to everything, cabs to downtown were 10 bucks.
