Location great, staff tried hard and were very nice but hotel maintenance let the hotel down. Concrete drilling in the room above me on arrival meant i couldn't stay in the room, shower head broken followed by very limited water to shower in the following day. Bkfst was good and price was good,

I stayed one night this week before going on a short buisness trip to central Vietnam. The hotel was an easy 4 star that night. The staff helpful, the room great and the service adequate. On checkout I booked the same room and rate and scheduled an airport picukup for my wife for the day I would return to Hanoi. I arrived to find out they didn't send […] the driver to pick up my wife (it's her birthday), put us in a strongly smoke-smelling room and a smaller room that I had the last time (though I booked 'the same room'). The staff this second time were also less than satisfactory and the bell boy was not the same level of service I had the first stay. A once 'lovely' hotel is now just a Hanoi Hole-in-the-wall in my eyes. It's a shame...the hotel had some charm and coziness...a little customer service could have gone a long way for them to keep a lifetime customer. I will be back in Hanoi for two more nights next week and several more times this year, but will not be booking with them. Lost business. I travel a lot and stay in many hotels of all ranges. It is hard to upset me when it comes to service and I will rarely leave negative feedback. The service I received the first night kept the ratings of this hotel average...they did a good job the first time around, but it would take something special to give them a third try after the hassles and disappointment created from the second. Close enough to the airport for convenience. Large market in short walking distance. Wonderful, helpful staff. Very good breakfast included. Menus available . that offered a selection of delivered foods that was great. Very good place for the money.

This hotel is located near the Hoan Kiem Lake, the lake is nothing special, in fact it is a very dirty lake. The area surrounding this hotel is not very clean, lots of motorcycles in the street. But, this is a very touristy area so you might feel safer. The hotel itself is average, quiet frankly not worth the price. I showed them the reservation confirmation email on my phone but they wanted a print out. Within minutes of locating my reservation, the guy from the travel desk was trying to pressure me into buying a cruise in Ha Long Bay. Room is pretty small, but we only stayed one night. outstanding choice and staff extremely pleasant.

My husband and I stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon after returning from a cruise on Ha Long Bay. First impressions were great, friendly and attentive doormen, easy check-in and a decent room. The room itself wasn't big but it was well appointed and comfortable with a newish bathroom. We booked a superior room, others were significantly […] larger. Decor is Vietnamese glam with some quirky touches thrown in, hence the boutique label this hotel attracts. The location was perfect for our final evening stroll around the lake which turned out to be the least hectic of the whole holiday (most hawkers seem to take Saturday nights off). Breakfast the next day was pretty good, they tried to include too many breakfast types resulting in a fairly small selection if you didn't fancy creamy penne or pumpkin soup first thing in the morning. Coffee is very Vietnamese, super sweet before any added sugar and just weird to an Australian palate. The reception staff were more than happy to arrange a fixed price car for our airport transfers and check out was a breeze. The staff at the Grand Gia Bao were very helpful especially in assisting us to arrange train tickets to go to Sapa. They held our luggage for us until we returned three days later and had our room ready early. The room was spacious although had a very musty smell. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been washed in a long time and there was a drip […] coming from the roof over the shower. Definitely the bathroom needed some maintenance done on it. Very nice modern accomodations (a great value given that other hotels of similar quality are nearly twice the price), friendly staff and a great location - 2 minute walk to the lake and the bridge crossing over to the island temple.

The Gia Bao Grand Hotel is the newer of two Gia Bao hotels. This boutique hotel has fancy rooms (bathroom with a window facing the bed) and is very modern. It is situated two blocks from Hanoi's old center. Breakfast is buffet style with a small but fine selection. The staff is very helpful and called our tour operator as the guide was running late. […] Furthermore, they let us check-in at 5am already when we came from the night train. Free internet. 위치는 호안끼엠 호수와 수중인형극장과 가까운데 있었고, 여행자거리에 위치한 호텔보다는 주변이 좀 덜 복잡해서 좋았습니다. 밤에 마실 나가기도 좋았고 직원들도 친절하게 여행 코스 추천등 좋은 인상을 많이 주었습니다.

Chambre pas propre, draps avec cheveux, poils et saleté (comme la Sdb) personnel familier, indisponible, inefficace, il a fallu demander 3 fois avec insistance pour que les draps soient changés. Prix des consommations à la tête du client Mauvais rapport qualité/prix Petits déjeuners immangeables!! A fuir!!!

Et rigtig fint hotel som ligger taet paa alt i Hanoi. Hotellets personale ydede en super service under opholdet og var meget behjaelpelige med at arragere vores videre faerd i Vietnam. Eneste minus var at de havde overbooket og solgt vores vaerelse, saa vi fik et mindre end vi havde bestilt (dog stadig meget fint og stort).

Very modern boutique hotel only 5min walk away from the old quarter. Staff is friendly and helpful. Buffet style breakfast with limited but fine selection. Best value for money we had in Vietnam.
