Overall, the room was in fairly good condition. There were a few scrapes on the wall, and the TVs are of the old tube variety -- not that you'll have... any spare time to watch given the number of sights to take in in Ottawa. The rooms were fairly clean. I did spot a couple spots of dust on light switches and on the bathroom exhaust fan. Nothing to be concerned about though. The hotel does indeed have wifi, but it doesn't cover every room. That said, there IS wired internet which is useful if you have a laptop with you or carry around a wireless access point. The front desk will happily provide you with ethernet cables upon request. The only real disappointment with our stay was the quality of the breakfast. It's pretty bad. Honestly, we ended up skipping it after the first day. The coffee is watered down, the bagels are doughy, the bread is institutional white fluff, and the rest way too sugary. Suggestions for improvement on that front: 1. Find a new supplier for your coffee and breads. 2. Consider incorporating fresh fruit, deli meats, and cheeses to your selection. Some salmon and swiss would have really perked up those bagels, for example. Overall, we had a good stay and would come back. The value for dollar is excellent.
